CCP always says vague noncommittal stuff like this, to keep those players desperately hoping for a significant improvement hanging on and paying. It’s their way of saying “Gee if wishes were fishes we’d wish this fixed”.
They even straight up said at Fanfest they weren’t interested in fixing Career agents and NPE anymore, so it’s unlikely any other missions will receive more attention.
The best and smartest thing they could have done would have been to create an actual mission editor/creator for Freelance jobs, and put the work in the hands of their players. Who apparently have a lot more creative energy than CCP does. Since @DeT_Resprox has single-handedly created a better content creator than CCP has, working with external interfaces:
I had hope for Freelance missions when it was announced but as usual, CCP has managed to take a conceptual EVE goldmine and turn it into Dust.
