First you learn how to use comma and fullstops, then I might believe that you are actually capable of having a proper discussion. Thanks.
We will never not have love for your kind.
CODE is just another mercanaries funded by goons to lower the competition.
We all know that bumping is retarded mechanic but ccp is afraid to do anything cause that would make goons not happy.
There is nothing to do anything about. Everything anyone could ever need to prevent an orca from being bumped is already in-game.
I thik the best solution to the ābumping issueā people keep bringing up is if your ship is not in warp after 5 (maybe 10) minutes of pressing the warp button, you would warp away regardless of speed. Bumping is a legit tactic that is vital to many aspects of Eve, including ganking, but bumping is also often used in such a way that the victim has no real option to escape or penalties to the perpetrator unlike other āgriefingā done in game. 5 minutes is more then enough time for someone to bump their target out of position and decide if they want to kill, scram, bring in friends, etc. If a bumper canāt capitalize on a bump within a couple minutes they are either being intentionally annoying or are so pathetic their victim deserves to escape.
Also, it would help in the rare instances a ship gets stuck. This actually happened to me once with a customs office. My ship was stuck in one for quite sometime (over 5 minutes) until I managed to find a way out and then warp away. If I had the option to do a ā5 minute warpā I would have gladly done so in that instance.
Some players donāt deserve to be able to get out of a gank or vigorous bump session. I had this poor bastage earlier today in an Orca that I bumped for almost 3 hours, and he deserved every single second of it. He tried several different things to get out of it, and kudos to him for at least trying, but it did no good and was quite honestly comical to watch. I guess the next time I tell him not to bring an Orca or Iām going to bump him until he logs out, he will know Iām not joking, although after that 3 hour session, there probably wonāt be a next timeā¦
And whatās the point of keeping someone trapped for 3 hours? As I said before:
If a bumper canāt capitalize on a bump within a couple minutes they are either being intentionally annoying or are so pathetic their victim deserves to escape.
So which was it for you?
Or, you could bump them back. Iām not really into mining. I make most of my money doing stuff like missions, sites, etc., However, some code player was bumping some miners in my home system, so a couple guys bumped her back and harassed her until she left.
Bumping certainly is a griefer style of gameplay, but CCP will never do anything about it. Just like griefers who gank newbies in ventures and think theyāre glorious elite players, bumping is a perfectly allowable activity in Eve. You will have to work out support from other players, or just find a way around the kids who are harassing you.
As long as there is no evidence that bumping actually is done by anyone else but a minority, affecting no one but a minority, there is no actual issue to talk about and each and every single one of these threads is nothing but exaggeration of a non-issue.
What was the point of keeping him bumped for 3 hours? Because I can, and because he was pretty much begging for it, thatās why. I normally donāt go to that extreme, but like I said earlier, this particular player was very much deserving of it.
So the answer is ābothā, got it.
I told him exactly what was going to happen, he thought I was bluffing, and found out the hard way. All there was to it. Next time, he will know.
CCP could just make it so once a player presses the warp button they canāt be bumped.
If someone or a group wants to stop them they could always scramble them.
Gankers can still gank people that autopilot.
Pilots that are paying attention can warp off.
This will never happen unless enough players push for it. High sec players are unreliable at best with the CSM. Far to many donāt care about it.
