Monthly sub and death

how long dose it take for the monthly Sub’s to go, If one has not logged in for a time?
I have not played Eve online for sometime and each month, payment was and have been going out of my account each and every month, for the last 3 month’s, Now I did this not logged in just to see how long it take’s for some one to not take any payment from my account,.
well I could have deeded, or something along those lines, thank god I was not, but it dose make me wonder though, Just how long dose it take in order, to find out that one of you players, cannot play or even logged in for sometime, and that you have been taking money from a dead players account as the next of kin will not have access, I just put this out as like I said this on my part was a test,. It was like when Covid 19 was going around the world, My computer went down and it to tow years to get back online, and eve asking for help, which I did as my motherboard went down due to usb port ( 1.5 v ) took it out, the money was still going from my bank each and every month,
but that was then and this is now, so ref to the top, Please let me no, in this matter.

AFAIK any sub continues until you cancel it or the card stops working/rejects the payment. CCP has no way of knowing what’s going on at your end of things.

That’s fairly standard business practice with any recurring payment.

It varies according to digital provider whether someone having power of attorney has digital access. It would be in the small print relating to each provider. I suspect that unlike with banks, etc, in the case of digital providers you’d need a court order.

Works the same way as your cell phone bill, any autopay bills like utilities or car payments, Netflix, etc. Who ever ends up in charge of your estate needs to freeze any bank accounts and credit cards so unwanted payments aren’t automatically made.
