The Vindicator.
Extremely high DPS, fantastic bonus to webs, the Vindicator is a hell of a fun ship to fly but the biggest reason to use it in a giveaway is that it is USEFUL. In all types of space for all kinds of content. High, low, null and wormholes.
Missions, ratting, incursions, Vindicator has you covered.
Web just about any subcap so that a dreadnaught can hit it, Vindicator has you covered.
Brawl like an absolute terror, Vindicator has you covered.
There is always a good excuse to fly the Windicator.

And you should give to me because I had the discipline and dedication to make my char a true amarr for more than 15 years now. Having all Amarr ships on Mastery V, yet not learned a single ship or gun skill from any other race. And on top of that, I would actually fly it with pride for the glory of the empire instead of letting it rot in some collection.
You won’t get a better reason, go ahead!

Looks like someone rage-biomassed, but all the other comments seem very civil so I don’t know why.
I also arrived too late.
You know what they say about assumptions…
They made a thread wanting to give back to the community in the form of giving away one ship to players and asked input on which ship players would like to get (only condition from what I gathered was that the ship had to be high-seccable. thus not a cap). And finally they would have held a forum vote on top picks of ships. And I understood the ship with most votes would have been the one they gave away.
So guys started posting, then CCP moved the thread. Then the meltdown happened. But I suspect it was people posting a Python here that finally made them close the thread. I mean, could have just specified a max value then.
Also, it makes you look like a total c*nt if you come out promising a give-away, and then renege on your words.
