As long as it is denied to gankers I don’t care what happens to it. As for me personally profiting, I have not actually taken any loot for myself as I don’t need the ISK.
The ISK received from loot denial is used to assist AG operations. I have never heard of any one demanding that we give them ISK for their loot which we denied to gankers.
That’s what I wrote, right.
If you did, in general, give loot back, then you would be subject to more compensation requests than successful loot denials.
This is all pretty funny considering the fact that that article is worded the way it is because of my activities in Arnon.
The old wording only forbade people from messing with the mission runners, so I ganked noobs freely there. When I recieved a formal warning for killing noobs there, I had to file a million tickets but I eventually got the disciplinary action removed from my character’s record and actually received an apology from a developer.
That’s right. An apology. From a dev. 
The next day the rookie griefing policy was reworded to actually forbid killing <30 day characters in Arnon, so I stopped.
Now, if you live in Arnon, you have to wait til your 31st day in the game to feel the warm embrace of James 315’s antimatter.

I have personally given loot back a few times but I am generally not one of the actual scoopers, I tend to be pointing the ganker loot scoopers.

Sadly, from purely economical standpoint for AG, letting the gank go through is better than stopping it, which means that this activity is unreliable. To combat this, one can implement a system of donations; people who donated will then obtain a guarantee that AG will try their hardest to stop ganks on them, which is reinforced economically by sending donated money to AG member who successfully prevented the gank.
That’s an even worse deal than a mining permit lmao.
I was in a devoter, how the hell am I supposed to stop a gank by multiple Talos’s? And none of them were low security status either. Dream on…
