Jesus invented a little thing called pressing alt-tab. It is your friend. You should thank Jesus for that.
actually in the csm and dev blog about the igb they stated that players can just alt tab, no immersion there.
considering anything invasion related is set as fleet activity, even the EC’s but people choose to solo them because “muh lootz”
Did FTL do a bad game?
The older games always seemed to have so much unique character. It was very different, when people would try crazy stuff and it would be a big hit. There are still really great ideas, but things get lost in the noise.
