My own online space game

Hello everyone, in my free time I write my own game about space battles. The game is free and does not require registration. Come and have a look and leave your wishes. Website: http://www.low-orbit.online

When mobile sir?

Never mind, I got it working in Chrome.

It’s certainly interesting, but I wasn’t sure how to work it; I targeted another ship and fired but my projectile meandered away and missed the target by a considerable margin.

Parts of it seem well done, the chat system looks good and appears to work, I’m assuming the underlying networking stack is somewhat solid, and everything is fast to load.

I would be interested in finding out what you made this in (i.e. Unity, Unreal… Godot?).

Also promoting a game on the forums of another game is ballsy, and I respect it, but the mods might not; I’m hoping they don’t delete the thread as I do have an academic interest in this :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for feedback. Projectile moved away because of orbital mechanics. It first should sync LAN - longitude of acsending node, after this it can move to target. And also on orbit to gain speed you must lower your altitude and vice versa, so bombs do it. I will add tutorial how to play the game. Game doesnt use any known game engine, its my own project. And its mobile friendly you can come in from your phone. Thanks again

What language is it written in?

I ask as I am a game developer myself, so I am interested in tech stacks and programming, I currently have a project of my own in the works - VR space flight / dogfighting simulator, which I am making in Unity

Very cool, I plan on checking it out later so I bookmarked the game site…

I wish you lot’s of luck and may it be a great success…
