Welp after leaving ~8 years ago and giving away a trillion ISK earned from my trade strategies I’m back, looking forward to more EVE, glad the game has not completely died.
Hopefully changes made won’t prevent me from building my wealth, I had a trillion, now I have 100 million, lets go!!
The market feels different, feels like there is not as much activity. Perhaps what made me eve rich in the past isnt going to work now. Or there are just less people playing and I feel the difference
Just a small number of the many players I partnered with back then, paid out tens of billions of ISK in interest and returned hundreds of billions of ISK to those players before giving away my profits… like an idiot.
I think you’ll find that a trillion ISK ain’t what it used to be when last you were active in game.
CCP decided that if you can’t beat them, then join them when it comes to selling gold.
ISK is meaningless now. It gets doled out just for logging in. PLEX is now given away in a “the first taste is always free” strategy. Multi hundred million ISK ships are handed out like candy. You can make a hundred million an hour running the new missions by another name.
Hell, you can make a cool twenty billion just by drawing shapes in a square for a half hour a day.
Welp, back at it, raising ISK from the EVE community, however, things are different. Market feels different due to mechanics changes and a player base of alphas among other things that I don’t understand yet.
Def more exciting this time because of the unknowns/changes and all the ISK I’m playing with is player money, only 100 million of it is mine, I feel a pressure that I have not before.
I’m afraid that this returning pilot is not worthy of my generosity or perhaps this pilot had not yet known about what it means to be a true miner of New Eden
