Yes… Yes… It’s all my fault. I also like to club seals and poke blind men in the eyes so they might see better.
Keep regurgitating the same tried troll.
Maybe not permanently, but it would be fun if the Concord comms system broke down maybe (randomly ) for half an hour every week or something, with resultant carnage across all space.
That would just make miners dock up for the duration. Now if you add an incentive like better mining yield/no waste (?) could make it worth it. Add it like high sec weather. A solar flare knocks out concord comms…
I don’t think you mean nope, I mean I said it is subjective. For the human opponents, that is what we are lacking, and trying to fill the gap.
The unbalance is no counterplay to take out the ganker. The timeline is too small, and there are no opportunities for that human intervention. I have suggested ways we could change this, and create an anti-ganking community, something that has rewards.
Do you think the counterplay for ganking is balanced, could you get on board with more human interaction?
I always love the ganker community when they make claims they somehow prop up an economy that is almost 1,500 trillion isk. I can’t say it does nothing, but to say it is some phenomenal to be reckoned with, is a far stretch wouldn’t you think?
JJ
I think we can make some adjustments to CONCORD. I like the scenario where gankers are pirates, and you have to jump through a WH to high sec, or if there was a permanently flashy status if it is by security level, or if it is part of the pirate faction and standings don’t matter anymore.
I think some adjustments for slower responses and the like to make a scenario like that balance where gankers have an opportunity to be a pirate without being mobbed by CONCORD.
Good thought keep them coming feel like we are making progress here.
JJ
I’m not interested in your opinions.
I know thats what you said, and nope, it isnt subjective.
The ganker is taken out in one result that is favourable and two that arent of the four possible results. The unbalance, if any, is against the ganker, and for the gankee.
I dont know why you said this as Im not part of that community. Im part of hauling community and I know what prices are like when ganking is thought to be heavy.
Thanks for your input Altara, it is always a pleasure getting your insight and feedback.
I agreed that ganking can be content. But now how do we balance it? Or are you still under the impression things in games don’t need to be balanced. Games always need balanced, don’t be so surprised about this, it happens all the time.
So strong Altara so strong you go.
Thank you great input here.
Survival game got it in my notes Altara, thank you for that. Second note, if they don’t like how it is go play somewhere else and wrote that note down as well. Thank you again for this.
Altara guide to eliminating ganking. I will try and get a YouTube video up of it if you don’t mind.
The one guy in here that isn’t in the ganker community needs to leave. Okay noted, yeah we need to shut the voice up quickly. Thank you again for great input here.
You are great Altara really appreciate it.
JJ
Yes…I’d add some form of incentive and bonus for going out while the comms are down. Maybe double the mining yield. But bear in mind also that whilst gankers could have a field day for the duration, anyone wishing to attack gankers ( or indeed anyone else ) would also be free to do so…so in fact it might even be the gankers who stay locked up in the stations. Would be a fascinating experiment…with no guarantee that carnage would actually result.
Great feed back Aiko, doing a great job on the forum by the way, really a lot of great input from you. Keep doing great things here.
JJ
So you don’t think people have different views? Two people can look at the same thing and describe it differently.
No that isn’t counterplay that is in the plan. I am talking about real counterplay. And what is against the ganker in the deal? Failing to get this point and might be important please do share.
Okay hauling community mistake no issue, but the comment is still accurate, it isn’t that ganker don’t make an impact but they are very far from touching the Eve economy, like decimal points in percent. So to imply they are the saving grace of everyone making isk is a stretch and maybe you didn’t mean to that extreme.
JJ
This would be similar to the permeate flashy status on gankers. It doesn’t have to be from null sec, but I think a way to get content created in the game. I think a lot of people would take a chance to pop a ganker if the LP was good enough.
One issue I thought about that might need some thought is how do you identify a ganker? Maybe it is simply you are a lawbreaker, your security status is minus XX number and you become flashy if you are part of a ganking group or not.
JJ
I hold they are a benefit to the economy.
Fair enough and accurate statement.
JJ
You have yet to define what ‘balance’ even is. You just throw the word about as if it gives you some sort of argument…when really it is a placeholder for no argument at all. It’s the sort of meaningless terminology politicians use…’ we must have balance’…that signifies they themselves haven’t a clue what their policies are or should be. It’s designed to make the audience think there is something there…when really there is nothing, in the same way that zero is equally ‘balanced’ between all the positive and negative integers. The person offering literally nothing…is you.
Are you reading the thread Altara? I have made several claims to the imbalance if you honestly have no clue and are not reading the thread let me know I will give you a few points to go start a conversation with you.
JJ
This is a question that shows you haven’t a clue what you are on about.
Ganking is not some sort of official role or corp or tag. Ganking is an activity. A person could be mining or doing PvE one minute, and ganking the next. There is no official ‘ganker’ identification. I go out walking. Does that make me a ‘walker’ ? Is my entire identity in life to be defined by ’ there goes that Walker again ’ ?
Anyone could be a ganker. At any time. I could go out right now and gank the nearest Venture. You seem to want to corrale all ‘Gankers’ into some official group like ‘Walkers’…which truly shows you haven’t a clue.
I know plenty on the game Altara; always something to learn but not a noob by any stretch of the imagination.
There are ganking corps specifically focused on ganking. And some people specifically do that gameplay, lots of argument in the thread for that.
I think the security status level will have to work; the only logical way to do it is by having the pirate alliance, as discussed earlier.
They are in specific groups ask Aiko or James, not me the other one.

Is this guy still blabbing on on his alt instead of posting on his main?
