Just so we’re clear, is it correct to assume that you’re not going to look at Gix when you’re accusing people of attacking others? There’s a prime example right above this comment where he’s not talking about the topic, he’s just flinging a barrage of insults at me. At least half of his posts are like this.
I’m not overly concerned with randoms on the internet flinging insults, but it is amusing how you ignore abhorrent behaviour from people you agree with.
I openly call @Gix_Firebrand a wind up artist/troll multiple times. You and him give eachother as good as you get.
What if the gank victim is not at his keyboard at the time of the gank and his ship operates on autopilot. Isn’t that PvE then?

Simply pointing out that you are just as duplicitous as Lucas in trying to have the argument both ways. As with all cases of confirmation bias the belief comes first and then the ‘supporting evidence’ is tacked on later. That is how, as Aiko and Gix and others have pointed out, you end up using a piece of ‘evidence’ in mutually contradictory ways in different posts. It is a clear sign of intellectual dishonesty.
And you try to back it up with a highly selective ‘CCP said…’…for example quoting a snippet of graph from CCP Rise, whilst at the same time deliberately avoiding his statement at the exact same time that CCP could find no evidence that ganking was deterring noobs.

I think you missed this one when you went on your mass deleting spree. You had quite a run of “basement dwelling psychotic incels” going for awhile until people called you out on it and now all I see is a whole bunch of “post deleted” under your name. I think a lot of people here trash your ideas, but you definitely take the lead in personal attacks, and it’s not even close.

After these guys decided to coordinate flagging my comments it felt easier to delete them rather than deal with the notifications in any other way.
You should have no problem demonstrating that then. Pretty much evey post Gix makes has personal attacks in it, so there’s definitely no comparison.
I could be a Wally, as I think Wally is a nice pilot name once you get to know him.
No…I think Cilla/Altara is a great example of what this forum should be about. People growing in their understanding of Eve, and not being too self inflated to ever admit being wrong. I’ve been wrong about a lot of things. I’m not one of those people ( hi, Lucas and JJ ) who has to be right at all costs even in the face of the entire rest of the forum declaring a view wrong.

All those deleted posts. This is part of why I didn’t fish out specific examples. I didn’t want to do the work of searching for things for him to delete for him. However I’m sure there are still plenty of examples captured in peoples quotes.
Now we might have a chance at a reasonable discussion about how ganking effects the game and how we might help capture the imagination of new bros who aren’t sticking around in the game for whatever reason.
We are never going to satisfy people who want marauders to pay for themselves in one trip, or people who want invincible ships. However we absolutely can help the new bros.

Do you mean when people further harmful stereotypes about miners and tar them all with the same brush?
So a Miner is out on an asteroid Belt in Highsec when all of a sudden their ship is attacked by another Pilot who in their story they are a Ganker.
The Two stories are now interacting but at which point do they interact and why does it always need to be the ganker who writes the story? See by turning off the Highsec ganking allows both pilots to enter Low sec to then start writing their interacting stories.
One would ask, how do you get the Highsec Miner to enter Lowsec? Place a large apple on the end of the stick. ( place a huge mining bonus in Lowsec ) or (place a huge debuff in Highsec for the Ganker)
I’m all for encouraging people into lower security space and right now there is a lot to recommend about mining there.
Better/more valuable ores.
Less competition.
A more thrilling experience.
I think part of what is keeping them from there is a lot of myths about the game and also the high sec gate effect.
Gates where low sec and high sec meet are some of the most heavily camped spots in eve. Especially if they are on a major null pipeline. So peoples first experience of wandering there is death and they assume all of lowsec is so spicy.
A bigger thing is encouraging them to use the tools available to protect them and consider one of the corps that can help them get established out there.
