Sure, and that’s why games have a fairly tough job separating actual griefing from gameplay. But that doesn’t mean that because it’s subjective it automatically can’t be ruled on.

Post on a character with at least one kill or loss in 2022. If you actively play the chances you have an empty killboard for over a year on all characters is very low.

It’s not exactly a nice thing to do…to warp scram someone and deprive them of their ship, whether it is in highsec or lowsec or null. So how do you define the ‘motivation’ of lowsec gate campers differently to that of highsec gankers just because one gets blapped by Concord and the other doesn’t ??
In both cases they want a kill…and let’s face it…lowsec is actually even more a case of big ‘bullies’ ganging up and blapping tiny little ships. There’s nothing stopping gate campers blapping absolutely anything that comes through…they don’t even have to worry about working out EHP…even blap shuttles that gankers in highsec would not waste time on. There’s no way you’d find 4 Tornadoes taking on a Tristan in highsec…yet it happens all the time at gate camps.
So howcome highsec gankers are griefer bullies and lowsec gate campers ( whom you have never once mentioned ) are not ?

Not really, you just have a ganking character and a money making character and you make cash through mostly passive endeavours. Hell, if that’s too tough I’m sure @Aiko_Danuja would bankroll your ganking if you wanted to do it all day every day.

Sure, but again, not everyone will. You seem to be unable to comprehend that not everyone will think and feel like you do.
There are people with mental health issues who may not be able to deal with it for example. This game is also available to kids, so not everyone is even mature enough to deal with targeted psychological harassment.
And again I have to point out that when I had an opinion you didn’t agree with you flew off the handle and started lobbing insults, so this idea that you just “laugh it off” seems completely absurd.

You know this is just the thing. CCP wants to eat its cake and have it too. They misadvertise the game, create a false impression and everyone involved suffer for it, both the gankers and the ones being ganked or PvPers in general and those who expect safety in hisec and whatnot.
Like how they create the impression this game should be allowed to be played by kids while it clearly has adult themes and an environment not necessarily suitable for them and by this create situations which just harm the game and its players in general by both sides of an encounter being lied to and frustrated.
If the game was adult rated as it should be this should not be the case and any adult crying over lost space pixels would be just laughed at by everyone and if they had mental health issues they should have been taken care of by their loved ones and not let to play a game that harms them.
This could be said about kids too but obviously it is not a mental health issue just them being immature due to their age and parents can hide behind the excuse of the age rating and rightfully blame the game and CCP for not being as advertised.
Of course CCP and the rating board hides behind the excuse of online interactions are not rated (ignoring the themes themselves) but everyone can see that is just a BS excuse. The game should be adults only and done.
Also there is the case of advertising the game as suitable for casual players and not clearly stating it is an all and everywhere PvP game where getting your stuff blown up is rather to be expected. Making this prominent in their ads and promo material like in the past instead of the current approach.
Of course these and other such examples just show how disingenuous CCP is and is part of the problem out of greed and wanting all the players they can get even if by lies instead of being honest and maybe earn less, though I personally think they would gain more people that way.
So really the one to blame for all this is CCP first and foremost, even if some players might also be responsible (am not here to debate that point and which players and how much are responsible am here to point out CCP as a serious reason for the issues).
Btw I personally don’t care about this thread and the eons old debate beyond munching some popcorn while casually scrolling through the posts every now and then. There is a reason this trash bin exists in the first place.
Though funny thing the same was to be said about the afk cloaky thread and eventually CCP actually did something about that one though your mileage may vary whether you consider it a proper solution or not.
However it shows that complaining long enough might make CCP change their stance even if just somewhat and not entirely. So I guess despite I see this fruitless in the end it might eventually produce some results if enough people keep on complaining to CCP… who knows.
