he’s trolling you. A very slight angle difference (which you always have) means that he won’t even meet the grid. edit : actually not, at pi/16 it means 171km away so it’s working.
The porpoise with 500MN goes 2.5 km/s so 50Mm requires 5 hours and a half . Don’t get disconnected though ^^
Yes! And… and when implants eaten, it take away character control and doing random movements for a few days, after that, it become smarter and start inviting to trade with othr players and infecting them by trade process everytime!
Since you know CONCORD responding time is a factor, why don’t you just stay in 1.0 and 0.9? Obviously it’s greed that drives people into certain death, not the system
edit. And the whole point of having 0.5~0.7 vs 0.8~1.0, is to make ganking a risk factor in the former areas. Otherwise why would anyone stay in 1.0 for the lower mission/mining payment?
People venture out of top sec most likely driven by the need to find something more interesting / engaging / rewarding / meaningful to do. Greed, rather, is a minor factor, if it matters at all. There is simply nothing to do in top sec. Boring as an ice cube.
edit:
more interesting belt rats, to begin with
better anos / sigs
better ores
closer to LS/null where all the above is even more fun
and the greater risk of being attacked makes staying there more exciting, too, of course, but not at the top of the list
Is 7 tornados OK? Would you find it fair if it took 8?
You’re flying a very expensive (and therefore attractive) target, with very little buffer tank. I think even 20 tornados would come out positive ganking you.
I have no experience gating a Paladin through high sec, but I see two ways to significantly reduce the attractiveness of your ship as suicide gank target.
Travel fit. Remove the expensive modules, replace all low and mid slots for a shield and armour passive tank. Add microwarp drive and T2 cloak for the MWD cloak trick for added defences. And take a other trip with the expensive modules in something less slow, like a BR or Interceptor.
Bowhead. Put your Paladin inside. The much higher EHP means you’re a much less attractive target.
Please make a dedicated thread about this, and the experience that led you to your decision. Be as detailed as possible. We need more people like you to bravely speak out against this issue so that we can get CCP to finally do something about the PvP ganker exploiters. It’s the only way we’ll get any meaningful changes made to the game, and get rid of the PvP scourge once and for all. Hope to hear from you soon.
