New Star Gate Structure Which Can Hold Down Wormholes (30 Days)

Here is yet another idea of a conflict driver for wormhole space.

This handly gate structure can hold down wormholes for up to 30 days and allows a limited amount of ships to pass through it each day. As long as the correct fuel is placed in the gate system to feed the wormhole energy then it will remain. The wormhole will close up on itself after the 30-day mark as it becomes unstable.

No. Wormholes should remain unstable

No. The best thing about wormholes and wormhole space is that all connections reset within a day, either by EoL or mass limit. It is basically the only thing that makes this little niche of EVE unattractive for the big blob alliances that hate nothing more than any inconveniences because their average grunt member is unable to even complete the most simple tasks on his own. There is really no need to make it any easier for them to use wormholes as shortcut highways for 30 days. It’s a real horrible idea and anyone living in WHs would know that.

How is a gate structure that only lasts 30 days not unstable?

@Gaming_Content_Creator how will you explain this lore wise? Why will the structure only work for 30 days once its built? Do you know what i mean?

The best thing about wormholes and wormhole space is that all connections reset within a day

Its also the worst thing

30 days?
No total mass limits?
Can the doodad be destroyed?
Just, no.

Wormhole evictions would become way too easy with such a thing. No hole control needed, just jam your fleet straight into the target hole for the timers.

Null blocs having a 30 day backdoor across the map they can move capital fleets through?

Hell no. This is a terrible concept.
