NFT's are Fundamentally a MLM-Type Scam Designed to Get You to Buy Crypto

So, you complained when Facebook, Twitter and all those social media platforms popped out of nowhere? Take a good look on how those evolve, they hate regulations.

The state should know you are making money and not sharing when you use the roads, hospitals and water and electricity provided by the community. I understand the ‘evil government’ stance but I found one easy trick not to get harassed by the government’s representatives by not committing crimes regularity.

You forgot Google too, and In-Q-Tel.

Society was a big pyramid scheme, due to social protest that pyramid was flattened a little bit. Besides that, in hundred of years we, the people, got a lot more rights. I remember when the King of France had to poop on the ground as the WC wasn’t invented yet, so we now live in a much better situation. I can drink from the tap water provided by the government without haviong to wonder if I would die of cholera. I guess we all became more like ‘fils a papa’.

And they’re throwing them all away again everytime they scream “think of the children” mantra.

FOSS saved many of your liberties, PGP et al. So much so, they keep trying to outlaw you.

Damn, yes. I am sorry. They probably wonder why I am looking up so much about Bitcoin every time I visited the eve-online forums.

I didn’t know about In-Q-Tel but will be googling about them soon. I know, but it’s so easy, almost like a drugs! :octopus: But since altavista’s searches didn’t provide as good results as google I had to go for “the better stuff”.

Some freedoms might be dangerous even though we do not realize it fully or at all. I didn’t see any issues with Bitcoin in 2009 when I started to mine. But it’s been corrupted over the years long before it became popular. Now if it needs to go mainstream it requires regulations, like taxes (sharing the wealth) and consumer protection (I think the latter more in Europe as the US always is a bit more free).

To those in centralised power, yes.

Freedoms are not handed out, power is lent out.

Try living in captivity and servitude, you will crave freedom.

Or in the hands of naive people; my face when the electricty bill in 2010 came in :

…but at least pizza delivery started to accept Bitcoin. So it wasn’t all a waste.

Self sufficiency, independence.

Dependency is the greatest form of control.

I don’t think in these days we can be independent. I’m not going to live in a hut in a forest and become a hunter gatherer, I like my toilet too much… *Flush… goes the toilet!"

Bitcoin doesn’t make people free though. Users become a slave to the electrical grid and ‘the current hypecoin’. Just like I crave another google to find some dank memes to post here. One way we all gave up our liberty for convenience. Remember the “prisoners” in the Bastille?

Yes we can, but they will do their best to outlaw that and make you dependent.

You will own nothing and be happy :smirk:

I’m always afraid when people promise things, I bet Schwab will say “Hey, cheer up lad, at least I didn’t break my promise that you would own nothing.”

It is amazing how many people are scared of ghosts and jump at shadows…

Is this a pun-off?

how about: A empty pot makes the most noise

When the cat wants to go out, it lets it be known.

Let the cat out of the bag

If one is so sure it’s a fail, bet against it. One method is to short sell it on the futures market (that’s a regulated activity :smirk: and with fine upstanding regulated financial brokers).

Also whilst you’re there, bet against the games companies entering the game. After all, they’re sure to fail. Keep in mind the SPX is due to blow off it’s top after a parabolic advance and euphoria.

That is also a scammer’s argument.

If one is so sure it’s a fail, warn other people about it ; and debunk the crypto BS that brainless idiots are spamming.

No it’s not, it’s to promote a narrative. everything you’ve been told about BTC here you just ignore it to make your narrative. Karak spent ages talking to you about Lightning network, did any of it sink in? NO, you were quick to tell me BTC is useless for money transfer. So no you are in no way here to investigate.
