And you ARE wrong!
When you notice the rats primarily target your drones and not your ship you know the glitch has hit you. Just warp to a safe, exit your ship, reship and go on your merry way. That is all.
I actually think the glitch should be “working as intended”.
And that opinion is correct!
You know, before the dust settles on the current wave of Drone changes, I just bet Drone Aggro will be increased.
Wouldn’t that be funny?
ok all I normaly do is pil drones and use missils to clear for a bit then launch drones and im fine
that would be great
Thats how I believe most people manage it.
im just sitting in my auto missile jackdaw and clearing drone sites while talking about drone aggro what am I doing with my life
I honestly wanted to leave, but this…
It’s easily proven. Telomeres are an integral part of cell division. Every time a cell divides, they are shorter for the newer cells. Eventually, assuming perfect health otherwise, you die due to the fact that your cells can’t divide anymore.
Telomeres are repetitive nucleotide sequences at each end of chromosomes. Their function is to protect the ends of the chromosomes from deterioration or fusion to other chromosomes during cell division . With every cell division , telomeres shorten. This blocks further cell division and induces senescence.
senescence: the condition or process of deterioration with age.
Boom. Headshot.
Too many posts to read all of them so I apologize if this has already been brought up.
The whole change systems, eject from ship etc never worked for me. When I fly in, I start my orbit and I lock a large rat. I launch my small drones and attack it. Once they start damaging, I recall 3 and replace with 3 heavies. Once the heavies start damaging, I recall the last 2 small and replace those with heavies. I don’t have any issues after that, just once on the first wave. I have only done this on nul ratting anoms so not sure about other areas.
Oh, hello again!
Yes. This is what normal people do.
This is what… non-normal people, do.
These people are terrible, I can see why you are upset. F them.
BTW, if you decide to leave, can I has your stuff
This means yours as well.
I just want to throw in my support, that I think there is a drone aggro problem. I dont think it should go back to the way it use to be, whereas NPC’s never switched targets once they are locked, but i dont think drones should be a primary target 100% of the time for some NPCs. This is one of the major reasons i dont fly drone ships. I feel your pain if your favorite ship is a drone boat. I honestly dont understand how anyone can not see the drone aggro as a problem, except for if they dont have any experience with drones in PVE situations. Drones in PVP situations i would say are more effective, as they counter pretty much all ewar, and can easily be recalled. At this point, im willing to state that CCP changed the direction of sub-cap drone boats, and they are not meant to perform well in PVE. Im supporting this claim with the absurdity of drone aggro. My recommendation would be to find another PVE ship.
Yes, and it’s also already proven that cancer cells will kill you eventually, sooooooooooo …
Hey, I remember you!
You were that other guy I had in memory, who made a thread about the same thing!
Literally the other guy! Hahahahahaha!
You should apply for a job at cccp. Obviously you have no idea about what OP is saying or you have not been around for long.
He literally says “why not” after being asked that, so yeah, the OP acknowledges that this change would be no different from infinite ammo.
So …
OP’s asking for the equivalent of “Infinite Ammo” ?
If your only weapons are drones, it makes sense for AI to target drones. And that’s the point, they made the AI smarter.
Thing is, if you have weapons on your ship other than drones and are smart, you can manage aggro just fine. This change was only to address the massive overuse of drones that didnt get targeted and therefore presented zero risk or attrition compared to guns.
The only npc that switch 100%are frigates, and I think that’s okay. Frigates should be used to kill drones after all.
