The Eve website, https://updates.eveonline.com/, no longer has any content regarding possible future updates or plans. This was a really helpful tool to give an idea of what direction the game is going even if it was very vague.
Currently it is a dump for links of past releases, events, videos and already released blogs.
Although it is a nice surprise to see a lot of game mechanics changes recently my fear is that something gets changed in the future which drastically impacts my or any players’ play style.
Will this site include future content again at some point?
Didn’t they remove it because people were being dumb?
It was a bunch of vague goals that CCP wanted to accomplish, but people saw the vague stuff, made up a bunch of personal assumptions, and then got mad at CCP when the actual patches didn’t line up with their personal assumptions.
CCP MAY FIND IT NECESSARY ON OCCASION TO MAKE CHANGES TO OR RESET CERTAIN PARAMETERS OF THE PERSISTENT GAME WORLD MECHANICS, INTERFACE OR FEATURES OF EVE ONLINE IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN GAME BALANCE AND ENHANCE PLAYABILITY OR PERFORMANCE FOR ITS SUBSCRIBERS. THESE CHANGES MAY AFFECT OR CAUSE SETBACKS FOR THE CHARACTERS YOU’VE CREATED.
cute that you have that fear, But if they change something that directly impacts what you do, you’ll have to adapt.
