I am here to make aware of a warp bug that, in my case happened on a booster toon for Incursions. On an TCRC exit with all scrams killed:
The booster (EOS) was fully aligned to the warp destination with prop mod off and no warp disrupting enemies on grid. There were no obstacles and the ship was not bumped by enemies. When I initiated the wing warp, i got a proper voice feedback on both clients, but saw that the booster stayed behind while my Logi ship warped out.
Looking at the boosters’ client, i saw the warp vector holding at 95-98% and just not going into warp. The align time of the ship is <12s with prop mod off and <15s with prop mod. The ship did not go into warp for more than 28s.
Finally, i decided to CTR+Space and rewarp. The ship did not make it out and was ultimativeley destructed.
Two different GMs told me, they would not reimburse me, as if it was my fault. I am okay with loosing stuff in EVE online, as long as the game works as intended.
This same bug happened to other Incursion FCs, too. Obviously holding the ships’ warp, rewarping AND getting lucky saved most of those. But in these cases also there was no indentifiable reason for the ship not to warp in the first place.
The Gamemasters were unable or unwilling to give me a reason for the failed warp. The contact with first level support was disappointing in this case.
