Hell, Arsia and Samira both: Why’d they leave PIE? Why’d they start questioning the perfect divine order of the Empire? Sure, there’s lots of reasons for it, but a big chunk of it… is Aldrith Shutaq, Lord Consort Newelle. When you’ve got someone telling you how supportive they are, loudly declaring loyalty and unity as the most important virtues out there, but when it’s time to actually do things, they treat you like crap, undercut your efforts, and generally take a massive dump all over everything you do? Yeah, that’s the sort of thing that makes you question the people doing it, the viewpoint they espouse, and whether or not you want to be in any way associated with either.
