Quite well, in fact. Thank you.
That really wasnāt āthe first time aroundā, you know.
This, in fact, is what gave the MBC the victory. Had that massive change in the technology of fortifications happened before the MBC attack, Iām willing to bet that one would have gone the same way PAPIās did.
And no, the PAPI loss was not because of āstacking Upwell fuckeryā. Breaking the constellation around 1DQ1, and thus making 1DQ vulnerable, was eminently possible. Hell, Iāve even outlined exactly how it could have been done in half the post-M2-XFE time that PAPI took rubbing themselves up and down a cheese grater before finally giving up.
Just because the idiots like to loudly shout āit was impossible!ā doesnāt make it true. Theyād just far rather find excuses than face up to their own incompetence.
So, all kidding about pedantic analysis of fortifications asideā¦ it may pain you, Utari, but it shouldnāt surprise you. Aldrith likes to dish out the hate and venom my way for Arsia leaving PIE and eventually leaving the Empire entirely, but heās as much a part of the math as I was.
Hell, Arsia and Samira both: Whyād they leave PIE? Whyād they start questioning the perfect divine order of the Empire? Sure, thereās lots of reasons for it, but a big chunk of itā¦ is Aldrith Shutaq, Lord Consort Newelle. When youāve got someone telling you how supportive they are, loudly declaring loyalty and unity as the most important virtues out there, but when itās time to actually do things, they treat you like crap, undercut your efforts, and generally take a massive dump all over everything you do? Yeah, thatās the sort of thing that makes you question the people doing it, the viewpoint they espouse, and whether or not you want to be in any way associated with either.
So yeah. Bad faith attempts to obnoxiously bully āalliesā around because theyāre doing things he doesnāt want them doing? Pretty classic Aldrith.
There is a saying, āBe careful not to become what you hateā, and this seems to be a saying nobody heeds in the cluster. Minmatar are now unified under an autocratic despot, and Amarr are becoming a rebellious and fragmented people.
You really need to lay of the tea.
Donāt hate me because Iām right.
I dunno if Iād call us āunitedāā¦
How about ācongealedā ? Itās a good word, that makes people feel a bit nauseous reading.
Weāre more ācoagulatedā.
Higher than what, precisely? I mean, the Empireās war against the Drifters wasnāt even an issue in that discussion, since itās not like Vektor and Yassavi are getting all butthurt that LUMENās not actively shooting Driftersā¦
Mind you, many of those pilots do have a very well-established history of going into Drifter Hives and killing any Tyrannos they see. Have you done likewise? But then, why let facts get in the way of introducing a completely spurious tertiary derailment to the discussion, right?
Ahhh Darling Arrendis being intentionally obtuse. Must be a day ending in āY.ā
Sorry, but itās not going to work here. Even the dim bulbs have enough wattage to see that once you put āthe Triglavian Menaceā (ooooh, SCARY!) in comparison to the other, more significant threats to Holy Amarr, the entire rationale for Lux Invicta dissipates.
Not that there was much substance there to start with.
The rationale for Lux Invicta is that the Empress told capsuleers to go support the EDENCOM mission. Missionās not over. Just like some Empire loyalists are focusing on the warzone, some are focusing on the Trigs. Others, Iām sure, are still focusing on the Drifters, but Vektor and Yassaviās argument hinges on āthe invasion is over, so the EDENCOM cooperation is overā.
The issue of opposing the Drifters has absolutely no bearing on whether or not the EDENCOM-aligned mission is over. Itād be like arguing that INIT shouldnāt shoot at TRI in Cloud Ring because GSF is busy shooting at Horde and TEST in Catch. An Empire of trillions should be able to multi-task, you know.
Arrendis hit it on right on thā nose! āCourse sheās really smart nā all.
P.S. Weāre still huntinā drifters too with Arc 'n all.
Itās always comedy gold, when capsuleers presume to know better than the Empress what the Empressās orders really mean.
A cynic might suggest that arguments amongst Amarrians are more about how to interpret their leadersā wishes to justify their view and what they want to do instead of actually doing the Empressā will.
How else do Paladins of an Imperial Order Militant find themselves taking orders from one of the many heretics they cultivated?
HA! This made me laugh.
Is there more lightning?
Thereās always more lightning.
Ehhhā¦ if you want to steal a Crown of Stupidity from Arrendis, youāll have to try harder.
