Seems like a terrible thing to wish for… for the poor woman’s sake.

never know

do you think he is that monster without chance to change yourself?

Yes. He’s been pulling the exact same sorts of crap for quite some time now. I don’t think he has the capacity to learn or grow in any way.

That already happened.

It is also likely part of the reason the creature does things such as this; self-loathing mixed with its particular mania exasperate one another and leads to acts of cruelty.

FFS, don’t feed the attention-hungry monster.

I had a thought. A while back, someone conducted a corpse trial of one of Nauplius’s corpses, accusing them of many things, including being a heretic and all that.

Now, if someone were to conduct another such trial, would that fall afoul of “double jeopardy” laws that prevent people from being prosecuted multiple times for the same offence ?

Something something God something Amarr something.

I … think for that to be the case, Dr. Valate, the original “trial” would have had to have some actual legal force to it instead of being basically performance art, and even if that weirdly weren’t the case a lot’s happened since then.

You don’t prosecute a thief for “being a thief,” you prosecute a thief for stealing X, Y, and Z. It’s not at all a problem if the thief was also prosecuted earlier for stealing W.

I’ve been ignoring the butcher’s threads and I refuse to dignify this latest one by even skimming it.

Naups is an attention whore plain and simple. Quit giving him that which he so desperately needs and perhaps he’ll go away.

Unless one considers he’s still a one-trick pony.

In my defense, my original response of “kay” was intended to be a counter-troll.

In a dialogue initiated by a man who has over the last several years been militarily active on behalf of the State, the Federation, the Republic, the Mandate (if your employer is to be believed), and lately an aggressor in Imperial space alongside Ushra’Khan and other terrorists.

It is remarkable, and perhaps informative that even in such company, you assumed your own loyalty under attack– where in truth my issue was with your framing of Adams’ moral vacuity as adaptability.

Seems your referring to married couples.lol

Such things as channelling embezzled aid money into off book military forces, and using said forces along with manufactured crises to leverage a coup– you feel freedom empowers opposition to those who advance by such means?

I feel societies where everyone is expected to hold obedience as a higher duty than holding to their own personal moral standards are societies where those in power have more and more incentive to abuse that power.

And I feel that open societies where people are empowered to speak their personal truths without fearing reprisal from those in power are societies where those who commit abuses like the one you cite are more likely to be held accountable.

Whether or not either the Federation or the Republic are anywhere near as open a pair of societies as they like to claim is another question entirely. After all, an open, moral society isn’t one where a shadowy cabal commits mass murder, out in the open, in the furtherance of a coup d’etat.

For this, I am open to everyone who is not a KOS enemy of the State.

I doubt you will appreciate a cup of tea with a genocidal maniac who will be trying to murder you just because you’re Caldari (or Amarr - which is quite common as well), or with a cultist who justifies his murders with mere ideals of freedom or something like that. Or with unwashed Gurista with blood on his hands, reeking with stench of uncleannes - not sure they would even let him in Tea House! Or maybe with a traitor, who mihgt not have a physical stench, but his morality stinks worse than of this gurista, for there is no worse disgrace than treason. Or, maybe, with same Angels? Well, yes, they tend to actually represent themselves as “businessmen” - but mere association with these things is a reason for investigation and tribunal session.

Other than that, I am open to everyone.

Certain people do it disgracefully on a purpose, I don’t really think that negotiation with them will be fruitful. Look, again, at the same Mantel, who openly edits other people quotes for them to match his own sick imagination of said people. Is there even a slight reason for discussing anything with them, except of pointing in public on their wrong ways?

This is just disgraceful, such behavior of these outlets shall be punished, it’s just dumb, it’s dirty, it’s unacceptable in any civilized society. And this is why the Federation must be destroyed.

Why in all the void is it the first instinct of most vocal capsuleers to call for the utter destruction of anyone they disagree with? That instinct is the same motivation that pushed the Kybernauts to lay waste to twenty-seven stars!
All the interactions I’ve had with the Amarr Faith, about 70 or 80 percent have been unadulterated ■■■■-shows. Caldari corporations vastly overreach in their citizens’ lives. The Feds condone flat-out hate speech. The Minmatar are united almost exclusively by their hatred of the Amarr. In short, it’s all ■■■■■■.
That does NOT give anyone moral grounds to advocate for, much less actively perpetuate and perpetrate, the destruction or coercion of one to three quarters of humanity.
This is what’s wrong with the Empires, the Kybernauts, CONCORD, the nullblocs, everywhere! When will enough be enough?!

That’s what I’ve been telling in other words all this time.

Though if you notice the pattern, the genociders come out predominantly from Republic and Federation. Let just lay pirates aside, they’re a different story, at least they aren’t trying to cover themselves under pretense of civilization.

Federation brings its useless democracy on a tip of a sword, just because intelligent people don’t accept it. It forces other nations to submit to them by power, and those who resist them (like us, Caldari), they consider their greatest enemies and commit atrocities on our people. All these death squads, torture of pows, it’s all result of hateful gallente propaganda against our people and hateful propaganda promoting inhuman ideals like freedom, individuality, hedonism.

Republic, well, you said it better than me. They are united only by their hatred, they are the greatest warmongers and troublemakers in our cluster, they started this war, they went against CONCORD. There’s not much to add.

As for Empire… well, a lot of people have misconception about it as I see, usually putting them into ranks of aggressors. On the other hand, this misconception is just shows that certain people are still live in the past and on history books, in the past, indeed, Amarr was the largest aggressor in the cluster. But not now. Pax Amarria is the thing. And I am Honored to have such allies as Amarr Empire.

Speaking about our State, we aren’t ideal either. Though, surely, our history is the shortest of all Empires. The State was born when we won our independence from Gallente who tried to oppress us. Maybe we simply didn’t have enough time of our existence to commit any atrocities like Gallente are doing now, like Empire committed in the past. We had, of course, larger history - pre Gallente as well, but speaking about the State, we shall keep in mind, we’re very young. So, old Raata wars aside, since our formation, the State didn’t try to coerce or genocide anyone.

Some people dare to call us aggressive. But, tell me, would you consider aggressive a house owner, who grabs a shotgun to kill invaders who broke into the home and started killing relatives?

I will say proudly: “ALL INVADERS MUST DIE”. But not because I disagree with them or something. But because these bastards are coming to kill us. With them shall be no negotiations. Only obliterations. The Federation must be destroyed.
