Theyâll be killing people especially in the busy high-population high-crime system of Jita, which like most big capital cities on Earth faces higher crime rates than the quieter villages away from the capital.
Also as a player who has been flying (and losing) Bestowers for two years already who isnât less than 1 month old flying in one of the Rookie systems you are fair game.
Especially when flying a cargo-expanded T1 hauler.
I could share some tips on how to avoid your latest avoidable death, but it seems youâre not here to improve, youâre here to talk about
Fun fact, pretty much half the population is born with those.
Youâve been around for 2.5 years. Not exactly a newb.
No such thing.
2.5 years.
Probably for the best, considering:
You flew to Jita with 800m worth of cargo in a T1 hauler, and youâre suprised you got popped like a loot piñata? And in 2.5 years, you never learned to make dock and undock bookmarks at Jita 4-4?
You are not a noobâŠ.youâve been in EVE 2.5 years. And in all that time you havenât learned not to substitute tank with greed ? You seriously expect to undock from Jita in a ship with just 6K EHP and not be one-shotted ?
Your 2.5 years didnât teach you that expanded cargo holds reduce tank ? You were so desperate for max capacity that you couldnât even find space for a Damage Control module ? WellâŠyou were undocking with a big âGank Meâ sign over your headâŠ.with inevitable consequences.
Incidentally, something I can never understand is why people cram small, expensive, stuff in with their big bulky stuffâŠall in one pathetically tanked ship. Around half of your cargo value is small items that could easily all fit in a well tanked PraxisâŠyou can get one to well over 100K EHP. The first thing I would do ( and have done as Iâve transported small expensive stuff ) is separate out all the small and expensive items for a tankier ship.
I played for like a month 2.5 years ago but ended up quitting because my corp all ended up quitting and it felt like the community was kind of toxicâŠâŠ.
I ended up coming back to check things out and I found that not only is the community toxic but the game design is also toxic.
New players shouldnât be able to be ganked in High Sec right outside of Jita.
If you are a toxic person who enjoys that kind of toxic behavior then this may be the game for you, but Iâm just leaving my feedback on why I wonât be playing this game which is because there are already enough toxic things in life to deal with, I donât pay someone a monthly overpriced subscription to be ganked by toxic players in a video game also.
If that doesnât align with your worldview, cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it. There is a reason why this game is dead/dying and not showing any hope for growth in the future and itâs definitely not how friendly and helpful you people are to new players nor the shoddy game design that allows toxic players to ruin weeks of effort with ease.
This game has one of the least toxic communities of competitive online games that Iâve played. In general itâs very helpful and welcoming.
Do not confuse âpeople shooting your ship in a ship-shooting gameâ for toxicity.
You were flying an easy target and got destroyed. That isnât toxic. Itâs the game you decided to play.
It appears you donât like this kind of gameplay. Thatâs OK, not everyone likes every kind of game. There is no need to announce your departure. Bye!
That is just nonsense. Gankers are among the friendliest and most helpful people in the gameâŠonce you get off your entitled high horse. I have never yet met a toxic gankerâŠ.but Iâve encountered plenty of toxic entitled miners and haulers who got into a rage because someone shot them in a PvP game that is all about shooting people.
Iâve transported billions more worth than you haveâŠright through Uedama and into Jita, without once being ganked. I make it more effort than its worth to either catch me in the first place or destroy me if they do catch me. I use bookmarksâŠ.insta dockâŠ.safe spotsâŠ.cloaking, etc, etc. If you learned to play the game rather than whiningâŠ.you could too !
You played for at least eight months in 2023 and were a member of four player corps before your current one.
Youâre not a noob, so stop pretending otherwise. You effed up. You made a bonehead mistake and it cost you. This isnât about a toxic game or a toxic community. You can either own your mistakes and learn from them, or you can be a quitter.
If youâre going to quit, then hurry up and get on with it.
