..!.. ok

They’ll be killing people especially in the busy high-population high-crime system of Jita, which like most big capital cities on Earth faces higher crime rates than the quieter villages away from the capital.

Also as a player who has been flying (and losing) Bestowers for two years already who isn’t less than 1 month old flying in one of the Rookie systems you are fair game.

Especially when flying a cargo-expanded T1 hauler.

I could share some tips on how to avoid your latest avoidable death, but it seems you’re not here to improve, you’re here to talk about

Fun fact, pretty much half the population is born with those.

You’ve been around for 2.5 years. Not exactly a newb.

No such thing.

2.5 years.

Probably for the best, considering:

You flew to Jita with 800m worth of cargo in a T1 hauler, and you’re suprised you got popped like a loot piñata? And in 2.5 years, you never learned to make dock and undock bookmarks at Jita 4-4?

PEBKAC, my dude.

“Newbs” have no business there. And there is no “universe” in the game, only a cluster of about 7k systems.

Breaks my heart.

What were you born with, capybara pp?

Enjoy Hello Kitty Online :grinning_cat:

But have no fear as Farmerama sounds like a suitable alternative still ongoing:

I bet it doesn’t matter. Hello Kitty Online would have still been too difficult for him.

Thanks for the info. I’m not changing my post though, I like Hello Kitty Online

Then you will definitely like these too:

You are not a noob
.you’ve been in EVE 2.5 years. And in all that time you haven’t learned not to substitute tank with greed ? You seriously expect to undock from Jita in a ship with just 6K EHP and not be one-shotted ?

Your 2.5 years didn’t teach you that expanded cargo holds reduce tank ? You were so desperate for max capacity that you couldn’t even find space for a Damage Control module ? Well
you were undocking with a big ‘Gank Me’ sign over your head
.with inevitable consequences.

Don’t blame the game for your own failures.

Incidentally, something I can never understand is why people cram small, expensive, stuff in with their big bulky stuff
all in one pathetically tanked ship. Around half of your cargo value is small items that could easily all fit in a well tanked Praxis
you can get one to well over 100K EHP. The first thing I would do ( and have done as I’ve transported small expensive stuff ) is separate out all the small and expensive items for a tankier ship.

It doesn’t sound like they think the matter through. Sounds to me they’re more relying on luck than advice or research.

Maybe they feel entitled of not being blown up. Thus when it happens they explode in outrage just as their ship exploded in a burst of fireball.

I played for like a month 2.5 years ago but ended up quitting because my corp all ended up quitting and it felt like the community was kind of toxic

.

I ended up coming back to check things out and I found that not only is the community toxic but the game design is also toxic.

New players shouldn’t be able to be ganked in High Sec right outside of Jita.

If you are a toxic person who enjoys that kind of toxic behavior then this may be the game for you, but I’m just leaving my feedback on why I won’t be playing this game which is because there are already enough toxic things in life to deal with, I don’t pay someone a monthly overpriced subscription to be ganked by toxic players in a video game also.

If that doesn’t align with your worldview, cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it. There is a reason why this game is dead/dying and not showing any hope for growth in the future and it’s definitely not how friendly and helpful you people are to new players nor the shoddy game design that allows toxic players to ruin weeks of effort with ease.

This game has one of the least toxic communities of competitive online games that I’ve played. In general it’s very helpful and welcoming.

Do not confuse “people shooting your ship in a ship-shooting game” for toxicity.

You were flying an easy target and got destroyed. That isn’t toxic. It’s the game you decided to play.

It appears you don’t like this kind of gameplay. That’s OK, not everyone likes every kind of game. There is no need to announce your departure. Bye!

Then they need to reread the game’s description. It clearly says PvP & PvE.

Agreed. Though maybe CCP should return to the old ways of promoting the game:

Just to make sure everyone is on the same page.

I gree. I like your pic with “EVE is Hard”. EVE is hard, even very hard. Players should expect to get frustrated and lose a lot.

That is just nonsense. Gankers are among the friendliest and most helpful people in the game
once you get off your entitled high horse. I have never yet met a toxic ganker
.but I’ve encountered plenty of toxic entitled miners and haulers who got into a rage because someone shot them in a PvP game that is all about shooting people.

I’ve transported billions more worth than you have
right through Uedama and into Jita, without once being ganked. I make it more effort than its worth to either catch me in the first place or destroy me if they do catch me. I use bookmarks
.insta dock
.safe spots
.cloaking, etc, etc. If you learned to play the game rather than whining
.you could too !

You played for at least eight months in 2023 and were a member of four player corps before your current one.

You’re not a noob, so stop pretending otherwise. You effed up. You made a bonehead mistake and it cost you. This isn’t about a toxic game or a toxic community. You can either own your mistakes and learn from them, or you can be a quitter.

If you’re going to quit, then hurry up and get on with it.
