Perhaps because the majority of players don’t PvP/register with zKill and/or forum accounts aren’t necessarily the accounts people use in-game? I certainly don’t log in with this character. You act like everyone is restricted to one account and one character.

And for that reason, no one in these forums will ever take you seriously. I don’t take arctic survival tips from Amazonian tribes, so why should I take advice about Eve from someone who doesn’t play?

Most players have multiple characters indeed.
But it’s a certain type of player that posts on the forums on an alt they don’t play on.

Sometimes, people who don’t even play the game will use an alt that doesn’t play the game in order to cry endlessly for years, and then when you point out they don’t even play the game they will pretend that they have a ‘main’.

I don’t understand why anyone would need to hide who they are on an internet game board where nobody knows who they are.
Ego is a fragile thing.
But that’s just it. Nearly all the whiny posts on the forum are by chars for whom one can seldom find any evidence they have ever even undocked….let alone encountered anything in space to whine about. It’s become almost a standing joke here…it is so predictable.
@MB_ThePhotographer is my main. I post with it because I believe in what I say and will take the responses on my chin just like I take responsibility for my actions in game. I lose ships. I don’t cry about it because half the time I did something stupid, drunk or just it was just bad luck. I say GF to those who can defeat me for any of those reasons. I do not expect a reward for just showing up. That just makes you weak. EVE has many players with some form of a disability and yet they excel at the game.
There is absolutely no excuse for not making any effort in the game. You decided to play the game. And a free one at that for most whiners. Get over yourselves. If you’re not good enough, leave…

I mean, you are not wrong, but for players usually 20 bucks can be spent in another game (key) and have a full friendly experience.
i mean, so you’re trying to tell me for the 23 years this game has been going, there has been 0 increase in any cost at all? OR if there has, that CCP should just take the rise in energy costs, personal costs, costs of doing business etc on the chin? Maybe you shouldnt have gotten a raise in 23 years….

My mom likes Candy Crush.
With all the special sales and sale chaining from the store to the NES the monthly price can today drop as low as it has never been in the first ca. 18 years or something. Nothing to complain for anyone. Just don’t use the single month price and make use of the saving possibilities.
It’s cheaper than ever.
Asurdly cheap in fact. Feels like playing for free.

Firstly, inflation exists, peoples wages increase, costs of maintenance increase, the cost of electricity increases, the cost of a sub has to go up in accordance with operating costs, thats just life
Secondly, if you can’t make 2.5bil a month you’re doing something very very wrong, thats less than 100mil a day, or to put it in incursion values, 4 completed HQ sites which will take you under an hour, making ISK is stupidly easy
Except the cost of EVE has gone down in unprecedented ways with all the rebates. You can get it down to 6$ a month or even lower. However if you can’t afford that, you should work on your RL issues or get so good in the game that you can do the aforementioned 100mil a day.

There was a crazy sale a while back and I got what was it 2 or 3 years of omega for a price of 4 US dollars a month. Just buy in bulk and it’s cheap as hell. I don’t understand the people who try and play eve as a job to run on a hamster wheel to earn isk just to plex their account…. Play the game for fun.

Alone this year there were about 3 crazy enough store chaining sales that could get you subscribed for the next 5 years for between 5-6$ a month…
But then the complainers come around and tell that they can’t upfront that money. And i tell..very valid and you shouldn’t upfront it if you can’t afford it…you should be working on your life to be able to do it and until then play as Alpha. Or with weekend pass now and then or other special promotions.
