20 dollars American is over 30 dollars Canadian now with taxes, per sub, i think it works out to 32.50
at 4 accounts 130 dollars, if i decide i need plex(due to lack of time and content) that’s abother 70 bucks or 115 Canadian
because eve allows alpha farmers there’s little to no content for people that have to play solo, because of time restraints, though there is a plethora of accounts that have nothing better to do than dissent from peoples valid concerns here in the forums.
Eve needs to allow us to block those with hidden profiles so we don’t have to be forced to see such dehumanising, dismissive responses.
As for deals(we can’t all use credit cards to farm video games) when games are run with policies of disposable player bases then you get stagnant games like eve.
i suggest CCP address the paying player bases intrests over those of the none paying plexers because without those that actually spend money enjoying eve you wont be around for another 20+ years.
Everything in EVE feels like it has become overly complicated, including the monetization model. I’m not sure why CCP moved in this direction, but sometimes simplicity is more effective. A complex game and monetization system can end up being more work than it’s worth for players AND devs! Peace
If the game’s quality were higher, the price increase might feel more justified. EVE has had over 20 years to grow, yet many additions over the years have felt more like gimmicks than meaningful improvements. I’m hoping CCP will focus on core quality again, as the original developers did. It may be the key to ensuring the game’s long-term future. But i could be wrong.
No one in their right mind is playing EVE for 20 EUR a month with all the offer chaining possible if you combine PLEX from the store with NES playtime offers and everything else that i am fed up to repeat again and again. The offers are the standard if you play it right.
The game doesn’t freeze and stutter. It runs very smoothly on a decent PC with decent internet. If it freezes and stutters that’ll be down to you running it on a ZX81.
I get the 3-month Omega. Since I primarily use 3 accounts, it works out to be the most economical option for me even when it’s not on sale. Get one per account a month ends up a whole lot cheaper than three individual monthly.
Don’t you think they’re being generous letting people play the game for free at all? Alphas are meant to be trial accounts. Just so guys can get to know the game and familiarize themselves with how it works. CCP has removed temporal limitations on these trial accounts (which used to be 14 or 21 days) and essentially allowed people to try the game at their own pace. Isn’t that a good thing in itself for Alphas?
