On the Reality of Mining Permits

Mining permits are nothing more than kids trying to tell someone in real life that they can or can’t do anything because anti-miner doesn’t like it. Because only the anti-miner believes everyone should think and be like the anti-miner.

The whole anti-mining thing was beaten to a dead horse during the Defias days and is nothing but a rebranding of the Defias Brotherhood.

Mining permits. Paying for that is a absurd idea for an active player.

Mining permits are like squatters, K.H. sthu. Now, squatters go into a house and claim it as their own.

Anti-miners have claimed the belts belong to them and that they have every right to destroy and take what they perceive as their property.

I am an ANTIMINER and I have EVERY RIGHT to DESTROY!!!

Many gankers seem like they enjoy reading their own comments in local!

Most Gankers are ramblers!

I personally enjoy reading their ramblings

It has come to my attention that not only does Mr Bennington have a potty mouth, but he also likes having his ass whooped by the Defias Brotherhood.

Due to his sacrifice of multiple Proteus to the brotherhood over the years , he may purchase a mining permit at a special price of 5 billion ISK.

You’ve lost a couple of T3 cruisers back in the day

The weird thing is why Null Capsuleers are Losing against Highsec Gankers. Those billions worth of cargos aren’t produced from Highsec. I think Highsec Gankers are more United and organized than Null Sec Alliances and Corporations.

The F1 monkeys are no match for Aiko’s flying monkeys.

Aiko and her bumbling fools are the F1 monkeys. That’s how you gank- you warp to fleet member, target, and hit F1. They’re the definition of an F1 monkey. Miners have two lasers that won’t stack. You have to turn on each one independently. Miners can’t be F1 monkeys.

A destroyer’s 7 weapons have to be stacked in order for maximum effect. All that’s triggered by the push of the F1 key. Even if you’re pushing F1 before targeting, you’re still hitting F1.

If you’re firing all of your mining lasers at the same rock, you’re doing it wrong…

Rubbish , meanwhile - as daylight fades, a silent hunter stalks. For the first time ever, under the cover of complete darkness, see her strike. With special cameras, go on the hunt with EVE’s most successful big cat. Enter the hidden world of gankers of the night.

If you’re that concerned about ISK per minute, you’re doing it wrong.

really? So I’m doing it wrong when I fire my civilian mining lasers on a One chunk of veldspar?

A post and comment section from r/Eve related to this subject:

Paying for permit?

Sooo, I am running missions for around 10,4k lp per burner in hi sec.

I could run them for over 17k per burner in a relatively quiet low sec. I saw a specific (pretty small) group being active and killing 2 to 3 ratters/miners/mission runners per day in the area, so I contacted them if I could buy a permit from them.

They offered a permit for 1.5b per month which I would recoup with about 70 burner missions, so 2 to 3 per day. At my current amount of playtime I do maybe 5 burners a day on average. So it would be a net win.

I still think it is better to pass on it because

a) the permit is only for their alliance

b) I am pretty sure they will either hunt me on their alts or “sell me” to other alliances/corps they are friends with.

c) getting stuff shipped safely out of LS is more expensive than from HS

Did anyone ever buy a permit like that and was it worth it for them in hindsight?

I guess one way could also be to ask to join them, but I am kind of a lone wolf guy who hates obligations and I don’t think my killboard would fit well into their corps.
