Just as an fyi and word to the wise. Permits issued by Safety are NOT valid or honored by our or other ganking entities that are part of the coalition of gankers. You may purchase your permits from Safety if you so choose, but it will NOT keep you from getting ganked by anyone but Safety, assuming they honor their own permits.

And you have to remember this was long before the present meta. I could give mining boost for free, no script. Invite everyone in local, no charge. Have a cruiser covering everyone while 2 other acct’s mined ice.

Edit; The reason I asked about slow speed maneuvering was not because of my mining ships speed since at that time in game, it didn’t need speed with a covering force. It was about how to keep the off grid covering force speeds low while keeping alignment.

Ore in jet cans and a Battle Hauler… or at least it was my favorite until CCP completely destroyed that gameplay with mining holds and then ore compressors. But I’m totally not bitter about it. (I actually am.)
