Meanwhile mining and hauling is basically ā€œpush button, wait for rewardā€. And ag are basically just vultures, just sitting around to profit on the works of others.

Well one of the parties has to pay advance. If the taker of the contract is -NEPF a well established and known corp, why wouldnā€™t it work?

You are right that the technical support for this kind of contract doesnā€™t exists, but I disagree with your argument that if there wasnā€™t such support for courier contracts, that they wouldnā€™t exists. If no technical support exists and you want some item or service it needs to be done on a reputation basis. The party with lower reputation pays first. There are games and even real life services (internet bazaars) running on this system.

Truth is, that no carebear wants to pay for something like this. If he was willing to pay ISKs, he could just as well use courier contract instead - 1mil/jump seems to be enough for random haulers to take my contract pretty much immediately. Any kind of safety contract would be at least that price and AGs would surely want much much more.

When I previously stated I paid X bils to fund my ganking for almost no profit I excluded this program of an alliance I am in. I joined them very recently too. Eitherway my point was that these programs exists on the gankersā€™ ā€œsideā€ and that if AGs are missing the incentive to do this activity they could and should do this as well. In their case the profit will be higher because, unlike ganking, there are barely no expenses.

You are the one who is naive here. There are purely profit based gankers. You can see them when you undock from Jita 4-4 also the Blackflag;'s ganking department in Sivala is purely profit based too. But the other half of the gankers are ganking pretty much anything they find without worrying about the profit. That of course doesnā€™t mean that they will leave the loot there lol, but the target selection isnā€™t based on a cargo scanning alt.

Honestly, if you go fully personal attack, at least make a research on the persons you are attacking.

You can loot Catalyst wrecks. In EvE, risk = reward. If you want more reward, you need to try riskier behaviour, instead of flying an interceptor in Highsec.

If you gank, canā€™t dock, canā€™t use gates, canā€™t log off. Same for the ship carrying the loot. Warp core degrades 'cuz CONCORD has a cumulative negative bonus on agility and warp speed. So you start to feel a little panic because if they catch you - minus 200,000 skill points from the ganker paid to the bounty hunter. How long shall the timer be? One hour? Thirty minutes? Oh yea, Gankers with timers glow like Christmas trees on d-scan.

The Ganker is the aggressor but gets to end the confrontation by dying to CONCORD and hiding out in a station (thatā€™s my main beef). Whereā€™s the party in that? Gankers gotta run to stay alive. Thereā€™s no suicide in ganking unless you want to give up 300,000 SP. But you only lose 200,000 to the bounty hunter. That way no Ganker will die to an ally in system just to go home.

Half the skill points from the ganker (if caught) goes to the gankee. That way a ganker ally canā€™t/wonā€™t suicide the ganker.
