Never thought it can be, just wrote “worth a try”.
I used to own a game with a bunch of friends.
I was assigned to maintain the forum.
I had exactly the same problems.
I resolved it through IP bans. I quickly learned that you can’t beat that adrenaline rush that trolls have through moderation.
Ofc in my case it was a small independent project so it was doable. CCP can’t afford such actions.
Unless someone pays for static IP people have dynamic IP.
Yes, my trolls with dynamic IPs thought the same. There are ways to overcome this, trust me
Because you both EIK me!
Just like how Uriel is starting to anger me!
Then it’s not an IP ban.
Anyway this is offtopic.
It is IP ban, there are ways to handle dynamic IPs, it just requires a bit more knowledge and effort.
But you are right, this is off topic. Lets get back to arguing who is the biggest troll.
That’s easy. It’s the Frostpacker, he tries to choke us with his wordsalad
s, barraging us from his many alts even.
I’m voting for you!
Haha, I did qualify it with the rider ‘let’s see how long that lasts’. Clearly, in your view, not very long!
But at least I’ve managed to inject some restraint into my responses.
I think James Fuchs’ exhortation is working!
I looked everywhere in the OP and never found it to be a treatise on grammar usage.
Had the person making that grammatical error confined his remarks to ones reflecting the topic outlined in the OP, I should (perhaps) not have had the opportunity to correct him.
I hope he takes it all in good part. My intention was gently to nudge him in the direction of adopting a more civil tone in addressing me.
Well, I must bid you Good Night, Mr Epeen. I’m reading a bit of Proust at the moment, but I fear that his renown as an author of acclaimed literary works cannot entirely prevent my eyelids from growing heavy nor my head from nodding drowsily. Take care, Mr Epeen.
My intention was
To get a pat on the head from Aiko.
Mr Epeen
Because you both EIK me!
I don’t think I’ve had any engagement with you whatever, either in-game or in the forums. You seem to think I have some activities in Uedama, but I long since moved my home base to Jita and Uedama is just a place I zoom through now and then.
I really miss the old forums.
So do I. You really had to know wat you were talking about back then. I got my arse handed to me a number of times, but I learned and I am still here.
just what they do in New Eden.
Which is something that they have been doing since the inception of the game. Why cry now?
Just letting my tears flow down the right side of the hanger wall.
Left is right, right is wrong? Meh…
I don’t cry about the game anymore. What was good is gone. We live with it.
