Even wow missed sales targets as the trilogy of terror began. 3 expacs, each to some worst than the last. The latest one dragonflight sold less than Shadowlands. Ergo less subs.

Basically every MMO has growing issues. Some hide it better. BLizzard stopped reporting subs long ago. they go off quarterly and annual sales numbers.

A Slick move that. It tacks on all the token sales, boosts, store sales for mounts and pets and crap. “Whales” make blizzard numbers look good. NGL, I got a few store mounts on sale. I can happily be a whale for the right price and a cool mount lol.

Given that 85% left and didn’t die…what evidence do you have that 7.25% ( half the 14.5% ) left because they did die ?

In fact your maths is totally absurd, for by your ‘logic’ the entire 7.25 % remaining after 2 weeks would ALL be people who died but didn’t leave. So in fact dying would be the best way of retaining new players, by your woeful maths !

The flaw in your assertion is that you assume the first calamity is always player-driven.

I encourage you to look up what “ostensibly” means.
