Overall gameplay Issues

The only calamity I see around here is your woeful maths.

That’s not true, some people are winners, some people are losers, the fates of destiny spin the wheat from the chaff, and those who are blessed will rise ever higher while those who are doomed will be cast out as fodder for the herd.

That’s what everybody thinks until reality comes crashing through the gates of pride & privilege.

Not for a while, I’m watching my carbs after the holidays.

Ohh, what a snappy non-argument. Check your dictionary for that O word yet?

Winners understand how two completely different datasets can’t just be fiddled so that 7% in one corresponds to the same 7% in another. At least not unless one has high aspirations to be a politician.

Don’t forget executives. They do it too. A lot.

Some people want to just undock and shoot at whatever they see.

EVE has that.

WH, NS, Poch.

eh
wh people always roll their entrys, literally the safest spot to be in in eve
NS is only playable with big fleets
poch is empty af for the most time

They don’t. I did clear multiple anos + sigs earlier today in a T3 and didn’t roll away any of the four entries we had. And tbh I live in WHs for years and don’t know anyone who “always rolls the entries”.

Have you tried roaming around until you score a kill or die?

You know Pochven with WH rules is as empty as WH’s are empty. ,)

a few days ago we set up a gatecamp in a good spot close to jita, we encountered around 4 people withhin 3 hours

i know there are sometimes fleets ratting, but cant do much against 20 vargurs

Maybe depends on timezone, most PvP-related activity is EU evening time. I was not there since insurgencies started, but the kb still shows the usual suspects being active, and a constant killfeed.

I’d rather pay over the odds in a back water system than use Jita, I might have been there a handful of times in over 11 years.

I didn’t know how to reply to this so I asked ChatGPT:

Hey Tirador,

Your EVE rant is a whole mood! Screw the skill grind, and nullsec local chat is like playing peekaboo.

PvP feels like rock-paper-scissors on steroids, and multiboxing? Just why?

Let’s cook up some crazy fixes. Ready for the chaos!

Did you ask rogueAI on the eve discord. I assume its response will mirror ours lol

This thread really blew up it seems…

I expect it does if half your kills are Ventures.

your assuming your assumption is correct without evidence, CCP dosent have the evidence, i personally know over 20 people in RL fact to face that used to play eve, plus about 30+ in my gaming communitythat are tinterweb mates, and all but 2 of them left eve because of unfair ganking (some changes where made that corrected that flaw) and getting ganked by multiplexers (something that is still on going problem even though its banned activity). CCP has mentioned previously about sending questionairs to people who have left, except i do not know anyone who got one out of about 60 people that quit. I myself have had 2 gaps in play of several years and never recieved anything. So i assume that they only asked people that closed their account instead of just stopping playing. If you to a quick scrape of google or reddit you fint that leaving through ship loss is the most common topic for leaving with over 16 times the mentions as the next closest reasons ‘skill training too long’ and ‘toxicity’.

I thinks its something that overlooked by the devs, not maliciously or even delibratly, because they are players of the game that in their own time play with large fleets, so they dont think about the new player experience much, and even if they create a new char, they immeadatly go the corp route with the people they already know, that creates more security that a new solo player wont have.
