Owning a structure - Solo?

I’m an experienced solo player but most of my networth was made through PVE in WH/LS/HS. Now I want something different and with my extra ISK I would like to put up a structure for industry.

Is it worth it to put up a structure as a solo player? If it’s possible, what region and what kind of structure would be ideal?

If not possible to own a structure, what would be the best way to get into industry as a solo player?

make a deal with a corporation to use theirs.

unless you can defend a structure, then i wouldnt put one up.

Everything is possible, but defending it will be a problem so really look where you are putting it.

If you put something in space your corporation becomes War Eligible so if you put one in HS they can start a war and remove it.

Wormholes/Low sec/Null sec can be removed without war.

Ask yourself why would you need a structure? Can a POS do?
What I see around for solo players is they put an Astrahus in a C1, since its not that great of an target if its just you and your als. But as with everything in EvE is someone is bored enough they will shoot it.

So my tip would be if only setup what you are willing to loose and have an exit strategy or look if you can do your industry in an NPC station.

The default advice here is: join a Corp with similar interests.
If you’re determined to go it alone, then choose a quiet, out of the way system. Don’t anchor what you can’t afford to lose and keep only the absolute bare minimum of assets in the structure.
Copy your BPOs in an npc station.
Expect your structure to get popped sooner or later.

You can do it acknowledge what others have said but in the end its a game and doing your own structure shouldn’t be limited to groups. Prob with corps is I doubt they give you the roles.

In the end everything turns into space dust just like Mega Alliance Keepstars
