Enough on the “No You” argument happening here on all sides.

Posts have been removed, let it end here.

Do we know why this daily logon feature was launched? and is this only for a short test period or it is going to be a permanent fixture of the system?

Also, why aren’t SKINS introduced during the events allowed to be saved - and i’m not talking about applying them to a character. I mean not having them immediately attached and available to sell.

Adding a small incentive for people to come play every day is just a nice way to help encourage activity.

The items and skins are being soulbound to encourage people to actually log in to earn them themselves, instead of just having them flood the market for cheap and lose value. We know there’s a bit of confusion regarding this with the drugs activating on redeem and we’re looking into that.

The Activity Tracker on every single one of my toons and accounts has been wiped out and reset. Is that a bug with this update?

Not that I’m aware of. Put in a ticket at https://support.eveonline.com/hc/en-us and they’ll have a look for you.

I fixed it. I don’t know what the root cause was, but I rebooted my computer and all of my activity trackers are back to normal.

Glad to hear it

Instead of create daily log-in to attract players for a short period of time, CCP should focus on creating interesting in-game stuff to achieve that in the long run.
And letting people realize time and money (isk or real money) they spent will one day (randomly) become nonsense is a terrible way.

Besides, I really doubt whether CCP studied their nerf well. A universal 20% nerf hurts the highest tier modules the worst, and if multiple modules are fitted, the nerf becomes worse. The thing that matters, EHP/EHP repair multiplier, is not universally affected. It breaks the balance among different play styles, diminishes the potential of resistance fit (as well as logistic fleets and solo/small gang players), and will make ship selections less, not more.

If CPP think they are in the right direction, please show us the data that support their changes.

Yeah, no.

Adding a small incentive for people to come play every day is just a nice way to help encourage activity.

Or they could encourage activity without this sort of thing by re-working in game content more thoroughly. Perhaps that could be done instead of this Pavlovian nonsense.

The items and skins are being soulbound to encourage people to actually log in to earn them themselves, instead of just having them flood the market for cheap and lose value

They are utterly valueless now that they are soulbound. What if I have 2-3 characters on one account and want each of them to have one? I can’t because there is no way to get more than 1. What if I assign it to the wrong character? Oh well, contact support and wait until its fixed (or until they play sad trombone and go “nope, can’t help”.

Agree with these sentiments completely. THIS! People have invested time and money into now broken fits (all LOKis for example … 20% reduction across the board etc). Stop nerfing! Buff other things in game instead to bring them up to par.

You take my time and isk; and then you nerf it so I have to invest more time and isk. Reminder this is a GAME and when you make it unenjoyable (you could have avoided this by BUFFING other SHIPS instead to BALANCE); people will find other GAMES = less subscriptions.

Last I checked this is a BUSINESS (from the CCP side) - what you did makes absolutely no sense from a profit/business perspective … unless you enjoy less subscriptions (which none of us want because we love the game and want more players)

When offer of three month of MTC is thrown into the subscription you know that ■■■■ is going to hit the fan?

New player 7 months into this game…everything I worked for and all my money making options are trashed.
Null Sec Ratting - Payouts nerfed
Null Sec Relic… stealth nerfed over the past 3 months, and I believe a further reduction is planned.
DED 10 / 10 service, due to filament gangs, I went from 2-5 per day to zero over the past 3 weeks.
Great changes for the people who have trillions of isk and have had the opportunity to stash isk over the past 12 years…sucks for new players, but I suppose CCP’s diminishing player base and people not wanting to pay for the overpriced crappy ship skins, CCP needs people to buy Plex.
Now onto everything I worked for… Capital alt, just yesterday got my HAW fit for a Naglfar - trashed due to the changes, I spent months farming to be able to skill into this.
Sub cap main, my 3.5B Loki is trash…I can’t even fly it due to the Cap changes…that was another skill / isk grind time sink.
So basically, all my ways to make isk are now crap and the I wasted tons of time on isk, plex and skill’s for nothing.
■■■■ YOU CCP !!!
I don’t honestly care ban my accounts before I unsub.

Why is that everytime I see people crying about how its “Bad for new players”, as a new player myself I 100% feel like nothing they describe make sense?

For instance, when you put “New player” and “Capital Alt” in the same post, you already demonstrate how BS the whole reasonning is.

An actual New Player shouldn’t even think about a Capital MAIN yet, let alone a Capital ALT, wtf.

You have no right to call yourself “New player” and then speak about your Naglfar fit or you 3.5B Loki.

Seriously I can’t believe you don’t realise how ridiculous and not related to actual New Players at all your situation is.

You made the choice to go for content/ships that are not intended for New players, deal with it and take it as the Veteran player you rushed to become.

Perhaps you decided to PAY your way into this situation, which is why you are so quick to speak about Plex in your reasonning.

Well, that’s your fault.

Or maybe you’re one of those endless victims, who no matter how much ISK or game time they have, will always hide themself behind the fake idea of being “New”.
