PC freezing

i installed another ssd and i will install w10 and eve on it for try if the problem fix i will writte again in a few days

for me itr freezes once i log one of my other accounts out while main stays online. at last im now seeing im not alone with this.

Guys 1 week ago i decide to install W10 on my second ssd and i played a lot of hours without problems so if you can play on W10 i try all on W11 but i didnt found the fix ,
im ganker i stay several hours on doors more than 10 hours if i can and 1 week its time enought to say its a fix

My system started freezing and requiring a power reset the moment I upgraded to windows 11 24H2.

Anyone has been able to find a solution?

Other games are fine. Baffling that CCP and MSF have not fixed - or acknowledged- this yet. Even if only to prevent the full system crash

Only fix is to revert back to windows 10 or earlier version of windows 11. I sent a support ticket. They wanted safe log information, told them thats the problem, system freezes I can’t access anything have to hard power down computer and no logs are saved from the incident. Event viewer shows the normal windows crap that microsoft needs to get rid of as well.

And they must have gotten tired of talking to me and ended the support ticket, no “yes we have heard of this issue” or anything like that just wanting me to send them information. Truely is a pain in the ass.

Very fustrating. I have done this 3 times. I want to revert back to windows 10 but I want CCP to pay for my time. This is getting very very old.

I think it has nothing to do with the number of accounts you run. I run only one with plenty room for more but it freezes my PC all the same.

Update on this. I have moved my game files from an SSD to an NVMe and it SEEMS to have cleared most if not all of it up. I just checked quickly, but it seems to have lost most of the stuttering and hesitations. I’ll get in game and check a little more thoroughly later, but perhaps this is others bottleneck as well? Lot’s of people don’t even think about their disks being the cause…

Update: Been playing for hours now, and not one of the hangs, freezes, almost all the stuttering/lag is gone… So maybe for me it was just getting goofy over some elements loading slower? I dunno, but been on Dx12 all day now and not a single issue. Other then a very slight stutter here and there in game play. A thing to note: the SSD I had the cache stored on before this is connected through SATA, not PCIe. I forgot to mention that before. My POINT is, I was having the same issues everyone else was having, I made this change, now everything is running fine. The post was made as a recommendation for something to try for those using similarly connected storage drives.

Not sure if this will help, but its something to try. Someone above mentioned they are using M.2 SSD. M.2 is a form factor. But SSD and NVMe aren’t the same thing

Well if we want to get technical, both SSDs and NVME drives do comprise flash chips.

Also if your motherboard doesn’t have an M.2 slot, you can get an M.2 add in card that goes into a PCI-E x4 slot, and you will get near-reference speeds from that, and the ones I’ve used in the past have been bootable.

That fixed it for me when i had that problem a while ago

My point is that not all storage that fits in the slot is PCIe, or isn’t fast science. Huge potential differences between PCIe 3, 4, 5… 3 seems sufficient, 4 plus, good to go? On reflection, isn’t it even possible to have an m.2 that runs trig A SATA connection? If so, then that’s a massive step down and could confuse some people as to why their m.2 storage is slow asd lol

You can get sata to m.2 adapters I think yes, but it would be like buying a Ferrari to do the school run.
