Please CCP. Do you actively *WANT* to discourage people under 40 to play the game?

Er…that would be because….

‘In the U.S., based on 2020 data, people aged 35 and over make up around 55.1% of the population.’

Ok, CCP you can close this thread now. Probably the whole forum. It’s never going to get any better than that.

Probably something you can view on Kindle that consists of faces.

Concentrate your social media presence on insta, shorts, tiktoc, bluesky, whatever else.

Why in gods name would anyone with an IQ high enough to play EVE want to actively use instagram or tiktok? and nobody i know actively uses bluesky lol

Same. Havent used it since. I don’t care what people had for lunch or their yearn for attention. I’d rather chill in a phreakin’ wormhole.

What is even the problem here? Is it disallowed for people under 40 to use facebook? Do they have a homeland security issue if they do?

This thread is nothing more than the OP being offended that CCP actually targets advertising towards every demographic, like a decent business should.

And there I thought reading comprehension was a bit of a prerequisite of playing EVE.

I am SPECIFICALLY making fun of CCP NOT targeting any demographic below the age of 40o.

Yet one of the eve groups on FB has over 20k members

How can they target them when that demographic has no reading comprehension or attention span?

Yeah, I see EVE ads on most social media apps, Twitter, FB, Reddit, Tiktok, YT, and even my sudoku app. They are really only missing some niche apps.

They’re pretty good with advertising themselves on the interweb. Always have been. I discovered the game through one such 100x100 px ad on some website I was visiting back in 2009. Can’t recall what website it was. Not FB, as I was not using it back then. Not a gaming website either, as I’ve never frequented any gaming sites. I was just messing around online and on one of the sites their ad popped up, and I’ve been here ever since.
