Because we can. Iāve been collecting mission NPCs and items for yearsā¦
The SKINR stuff isnāt ājunkā - you can probably sell a lot of it.
Do you want an Arctic Warfare Marine Army? Because thatās how you get an Arctic Warfare Marine Armyā¦

Definitely check the market!

Semi-collectible I guess. Itās a Genolution suit. As far as I know neither it or the implants have been available for quite some time now. Pretty sure it was from an event, donāt remember which one.
I once ran the SOE Arc on like 20 different toons so I could keep all of the mission items and NPCs. So yeah, Iām a masochistā¦
I try not to hoard too many items and prefer to keep my hangars efficient with only ships I need.
āPack lightā is common advice in my alliance and for good reason, because it makes packing everything and moving it to another region a lot easier, which in the past 9 years Iāve been with them it happens about once a year with sometimes only a couple of days to move.
The things I do hoard are corpses, fireworks, ship skins, blueprints and skinr items, all in containers somewhere far away in HS. Most of those I donāt keep because I need them, but because I didnāt want to spend time figuring out how to sell them, so putting it in a box is easier.
It says that, but my experience is that the demand for SKINR components is not great. Iāve got many open orders, priced to move, but they still havenāt sold in the month or so since I did my last purge. (YMMV though, especially if youāve got something rare. So still check the market, just temper expectations.)
Iāve been trying to live by this philosophy for the last five years or so. I can fit pretty much all of my stuff in a Charon, a Bowhead, and an Orca. I basically live out of the Orcaās hangars and a few station containers in my industry hub. About once or twice a year, I clean up the clutter to free space.
It definitely makes relocation easier. The last time I did it (quite recently), it took me way longer to move my clones than the rest of my stuff.
Menās and Womenās Genolution Combat Suits were available from the NES for a long time along with the Genolution Tactical Goggles⦠I think youāre right in saying theyāre semi-collectible⦠In ISK value for apparel, theyāre actually the low level generic version of Combat Suits⦠In fact thereās quite a few of them currently for sale in the Marketā¦

Semi off-topic: Were there ever any suits released that covered the characterās head?
Of course.
And those might be (hint, hint)
The only Apparel items that actually cover the characters head are the Triglavian Survival Suitsā¦
Currently thereās 7 different versions available:
Bioadaptive
Encounter
Liminality
Perun
Proving Grounds
Svarog
Veles
And yes, theyāre all still available in the Market⦠On a side note, I have both Menās and Womenās versions of those suits in my collectionā¦

I was curious if there were any combat suits. We need helmets!
I keep everything. In the end FC usually devalues most of it into oblivion eventually anyway. In null I just let it go to asset safety somewhere and then never bother with it again. Rebuild, rebrand and recreate. Ive been doing it since 2003 tbh. Build up in any area I inhabit again and again from a few things Ill truck in.
Im no collector though. I dont need this or that or cosmetics, though I have a lot of stuff, some of it quite old in game. I just dont get attached to anything.
So every few years if Im looking for something specific Ill go through hangars and go āoh that!! I remember this or that memoryā¦ā spend a few minutes or hours reminiscing about bygone, forgotten years and personal memories and then tuck it back into its box and carry on with whatever it was I was doing in game leaving it to be ārefoundā again.
Yeah, thatās been my opinion for a long timeā¦
Also just want to clarify that those suits I listed above only cover the top half of the body, still have to fit Bottoms on the character⦠Also only 5 of those suits actually feature a full facial mask, the other 2 feature a half facial maskā¦
Full Facial Mask Triglavian Survival Suit:
Bioadaptive
Encounter
Perun
Svarog
Veles
Half Facial Mask Triglavian Survival Suit:
Liminality
Proving Grounds
There are a couple of Triglavian full body Combat suits available but theyāre like all the other Combat suits, they donāt cover the characters headā¦
