Says at the bottom:

“If you wish to comment you can do so in this thread.”

Only the thread cannot be written to. Must be one of @CCP_Guard’s little jokes.

Update: And it’s now open.

Probably he wanted to write can’t. Just a mistake. :ccpguard:

That’s an effective way to deal with the discontent. Not let us post at all.

In the few years I have been an EVE player I have seen the CSM become a bigger farce year after year. Why on Earth does CCP continu with this frivolity?

Do you mind telling how many folks had Creecher as their primary choice?

e: Oh, he’s actually in the vote data, my bad. Nevermind!

Isn’t it the players who do the voting? Seems to me it first has to get worse before it gets better - as always.

All hail The Imperium Senate!

Yes, the players vote. But just as in the real world your options for candidates to vote for might be limited. Or, because of he use of … let’s say … block voting … 8 out of 10 electees belong to the same powerblock. I don’t know about you, but I think if such a thing happens perhaps there is something wrong with the way the elections are organized. In the real world there are plenty of examples how "democarcy"manages to fail.

Rarely do I find myself agreeing with you and this is definitely one of those times. I can tell you that for the past 10 years I’ve been here the CSM voting mechanic is definitely a farce.

There is a first time for everything  … Especially this year’s results should alarm ereybody involved in this charade of an election.

It is obviously possible to win. So how did they win and your candidates didn’t? What was their mistake?

Same crap every year csm is elected by the null alliances while high-sec dwellers cry and scream about not being represented, high-sec has the majority. Maybe the crying high-sec dwellers should get out and vote and make that majority count. I dwell in high-sec I voted on all my accounts, maybe the people crying over the results should have done the same?

A bunch of wannabees that will produce nothing!

They all want to be something in life and EVE is their goal lol how sad!

Null is safer than High sec by the way!

congrats goons !

I like the bit where several of the CSM are racist & homophobic but CCP only bans one of them? Anyway either CCP will kick the rest or I bet Brisc resigns from the CSM in a matter of days once mainstream media see what a shower of ■■■■ his fellow members are.

I would not have even brought this up if it was not for yet more CCP corruption. You don’t get to ban/kick people for an offence while allowing your ■■■■■■■ pet players to sit on CSM while doing the exact same thing.

That’s just a bunch of BS, especially since everyone knows this is a game of alts. I wouldn’t be surprised if half of the so-called high sec dwellers are actually just alts of null sec alliance members.

It’s not whether you’re racist or homophobic. It’s whether you’ve been caught.

I’m a high-sec dweller so does that make me the odd one out? I have no toons in anything outside of high-sec.

Should be a high, low, null and wh rep every time imo.
