I don’t care about swear words and our stance on those isn’t changing. I do care about comments which directly insult or attack other players or devs however (which has always been against the rules).

Do you? And what if CCP insults the players with their development practices and features? That red dot, for instance, is an insult to my competence and ability to manage myself. Not only is it belittling me, it also makes my life harder by being completely useless, counter intuitive, inconsistent.

Every time you do this, Link to a previous post where you break out in what ways its “useless counter intuitive, inconsistent.” Especially Inconsistent, I’ve found a few. (This isn’t the right thread for detailed complaints about game features.)
The feature isn’t going away because its in response to new player complaints that they couldn’t find where stuff went. The low retention rate is a huge driver forcing any changes that might help it.
(That’s not to excuse an opt-out button that many vets are requesting.)

Best part: She was typing while I editted in the last part into the post.
Then, suddenly, after I’ve sent it, she stopped.
Might’ve been bad timing, but that’d be very coincidential. I wonder if CCP Falcon is looking down from his throne, amused about how this might be progressing. I haven’t gotten banned for months, so far …

That bandwidth will be lost quickly on the same people returning on alts I am afraid. Their alts are legion unfortunately. Previously CCP have given up on those forums because of that. CCP Falcon sometimes only came back to ban people on a whim, thinking it will scare people from posting some things. It deterred good posters, not hardened trolls that cared not about their posting history and reputation but about posting the same thing for hundreds of posts, then threads devolving into basically this again and again:
