This important info is missing in your post.

Will you give the money directly to somebody already in place or will you do something on your own entirely? how much of the purchased plex for good will be on your expenses?

Or in other words, be specific/addressing and tell us how will you spend the money.

To be fair, I will tell you how I will spend the purchased plex for good. It will be for buying ships and modules from the market and then blow it up in roams. Let us use the teleporting filaments, and by chance give us a token in our cargo hold remembering it.

Iā€™m likely a pain in the ass in the forums, but Iā€™m the one who will definitely contribute.

(Iā€™m nobody who actually spent a fair share of my life by helping in less fortunate parts of the world by relief and development).

I agree itā€™d be good to see information on how the money will be managed/disbursed, especially since the current Australian government appears actively hostile to a lot of bleeding-heart relief efforts. Iā€™d want to be able to verify the money is able to get where it needs to go.

How about a PLEX for GOOD donation chart? Parse the contracts for participating alliances, corps and individuals to make a leaderboard of the party to donate the most PLEX.

This could help push some ā€˜generosity PVPā€™ which can only be a good thing.

Selling me PLEX and giving my discount as a donation smacks of creative marketing. Why not donate a fixed percentage of the revenue? I would be on board with that. Not selling a discount for Peter and promising to give it to Paul.
