EVE is just a sandbox and if you can project power, then so be it. I get that. But if you want to give more players a chance to have their little piece of space to fight over, fix this POCO monopoly. My idea, outside of Sov Null, 1 corp = 1 system. So, if you wanna hold 500 systems worth of POCO, you better sub 500 chars to have 500 corps in which to hold said POCOs. POCOs are a great way for a small corp to own something. NPC null and low sec could pull a few more small corps in if they had something of their own.
P.S.
Give Jump Freighters a small hold to keep our sets of low mods we use. Pain in the butt to worry about having all the interchangeable stuff we need to be efficient. Always seems to set offloaded with the cargo.
Personally I would like to see the POCOs either go back to being held by NPC or a game limit to the amount of tax that can be charged.
Currently as a solo player in HS, all the taxes around me are 20%, i don’t have the means to destroy and take over the pocos myself, and 99% of the time the people i main in the corps that run them don’t reply (when i try to negotiate a lower rate). I think it was brought in to create content in that people will fight over them, but i am not sure if this has ever been the case. the small corps holding them are just fronts for large organisations (i think)
All high-sec POCOs should revert to NPC control with a fixed tax rate of 10%. If you want to run a POCO empire there are other regions, ie: low-sec, null-sec, wormhole space, etc.
War HQ is the only reason any of this exists. That one single mechanic is responsible for the most damage in high security. It is a mechanic to ensure the blob wins. Why complain about the lemonade now? I’m handing out free straws… F1 monkeys.
And be honest. This ■■■■ isn’t worth anything. You only want others to believe it is because you can’t go take it now. Be honest! It’s just a few multiboxers who want to fight over this content. It actually used to be decent content when many groups owned them. Local corps.
War HQs… what happens without them? POCOs go back to being locally owned. That’s what. Deal with the real problem if it’s an issue. #FaxMaxxN
