Then I’m sorry people like me “having lived my life” must be a lie, invisible, or imaginary to you. I hope you don’t treat people this way in the real world, because that’s a really way to treat people that live differently.
Why? cause you are not an ally…I am an industrialist, and i need the ore either by mining it myself, or paying my allies to do so.
There for, if you are not an ally…then you get ganked for taking OUR ore.
Thats why.
This whole forum and the tons of industrial channels out there documents that what your saying is not true. Highsec ganking is a gigantic issue in this game, you can also go to the killboards for documentation.
My alt is a hauler, all across highsec, lowsec and null and has never been ganked in almost 10 years since she was created.
It’s actually very easy not to be ganked in highsec, but it takes learning the game to become good at playing it.
Discussions about how gankers need to be avoided and folk planning that are not a problem. That’s called responding to a challenge.
Challenge is good.
How is the challenge replaced if ganking was removed?
You weren’t censured. Your post was moved to the appropriate place.
And yes. Part of EVE is to accept defeats and enjoy the victories. Both.
Oh, it’s been a hell of a lot more than 29, because I haven’t linked my thread into every nerf ganking thread. In fact, @Uriel_the_Flame has been picking up the slack as of late. Of course, now I wish I had been keeping up with it, so that I could see exactly how many there have been without trying to dig through old threads manually counting them.
Well, 90% of arguments are the result of straw grasping made by people holding untenable positions. So, sorry if won’t give equal weight to the brain vomit of whinebears desperately trying to find justification to nuke a play style because what they actually want is to be able to opt out of PvP in an always on PvP game. Now, if you want to discuss any of the actual problems with ganking (I actually do admit that there are issues), feel free to join into that discussion… in the nerf ganking megathread.
We don’t control the forums. It’s just that most of the bittervets and whiners hang out in r/Eve, while the bettervets and HTFU crowd like to hang out here. In fact, I don’t know if you noticed or not, but a lot of the guys arguing against you weren’t even gankers. And there are even pure PvE’ers out there who will tell you that you need to HTFU @Geo_Eclipse_Oksaras .
I also give you in particular props for coming up with a novel variation of an existing argument. However, the simple fact of the matter is that it is tiresome to have the conversation reset to zero every week, and unproductive to relitigate the same points over and over.
Now, I will concede that more people will probably read the first post in a thread, than read one post out of hundreds, but you aren’t being singled out, and you aren’t being censored. You still have a voice, ISD’s merge threads all the time in order to keep the forums clean (i.e. merging threads into official feedback threads), and they frequently make moderation decisions that go aganist the psychopathic griefers.
