I could try, but clearly your getting upset enough to flag my posts.
Poor you, the truth doth hurt.
Only doing my duty as a forum member to flag off topic or harassing posts. o7
Iām not sure what linking my zkillboard has to do with the topic of the thread being CCP intervention of PLEX prices, but please do explain.
You clearly have mining toons, you clearly have alts; either that or even your own alliance do not like you very much.
please remain on topic and not get personal with regards to others. While this is a touchy subject we can still remain friendly with each other while discussing the topic.
Well, first off, I do not have mining toons, but if you believe I do, feel free to provide me some evidence.
But again, this is still off topic. Is there a connection between this and the proposal for CCP to intervene in PLEX prices?
Like Iāve said several posts before, my main source of income comes between Marketing and Abyssal site running, both of which I do on my main character. From this, I am more than capable of financing myself and earning enough ISK in-game to purchase PLEX. So feel free to continue to link my zkillboard. I still stand by my stance that CCP should not be intervening with the PLEX price.
I am an example of a single character player who can make it work, so can you.
Is this relevant to the topic at hand? Or⦠?
its relevant to everything you have said including the part where you attempt to make out you dont use alts lol
Keep reporting though, just goes to show the type of person you are
Do you have proof that I use alts? Or⦠what?
Assuming for the moment that youāre trying to make an argument here, the only thing I can think of is āScoots makes too much ISK if he is able to afford PLEX, therefore, he must be using alts.ā Letās assume this for a moment.
How does that influence your personal ability to make ISK in-game? Why does (assuming) my use of alts require that CCP intervene in the PLEX price?
Do i need proof?
I could get it if you like but to be frank, your really not worth the effort; tbvh your not worth anything at all.
Your entitled to an opinion tis true, however your psycholical games fall somewhat short.
Your the type of forum troll that insults people in a backhanded way, you think its clever; this is evident in the way you write - you think your clever; and your aim is to get people banned no doubt.
You assume
I assume
Were both on the same channel now, assuming things because lets face it; you were never talking facts.
I would love to see the proof and frankly, yes, you do need to show it.
I am not playing psychological games. Iām merely stating that I donāt believe CCP needs to intervene in the rising PLEX prices. Iām unsure where you believe I am playing psychological games, though you are free to point it out to me.
As for the weird point about ānever talking about facts,ā the burden is actually on you first, to support the claim that CCP should intervene in the PLEX prices. I am simply stating the status quo. So Iāll await your presentation of facts to support the claim that CCP needs to intervene.
The issue seems to be more for the casual player spending 6 to 10 hours a week in game. These individuals either buy with RL cashā¦which in the UK is 17 pounds per month. Some of these people say they cannot afford this for a casual game.
Or they look to make the isk to plex. When 500 plex is over 2 bil itās harder to make the isk to plex than if it was 1 bil.
With an aging gamer population we do have alot of these casual players.
That might be true, but then why are they putting so much pressure on themselves to PLEX? Thereās a reason why CCP created the Alpha Clones. There is so much you can already do as an Alpha that does not require PLEX.
This still does not mean that CCP needs to intervene with the PLEX prices. In fact, Iād argue that this is even more reason why CCP should stay out of it. There is no good reason that CCP would manipulate PLEX prices to drop down to the level where itās achievable by such casual players. Do these people not think that everyone else who is not ācasualā will graciously stand by the side and not take advantage of this?
People arenāt entitled to PLEX. Believing they are while at the same time not putting in the time/effort (for whatever reason), and taking that attitude to complain to CCP is just really silly.
I fit that casual player description most of the time. I subscribe. 20 hours a month for $15ish is far far cheaper than a movie.
Some months when I have more time I am more serious. But by subscribing I donāt have to stress and can just muck around during my play time.
Most people I know are not complaining to ccp but just not playing eve right now. There are other games that compete with eve for a players time. Yes eve is the mmo sandbox we love but ccp have to consider player retention in this.
I cannot talk for all alpha players but the people I know would not come back to the game to be an alpha.
What we need is dataā¦otherwise all we have is two different opinions on two sides of the fence.
My 2 cents. From my perspective of PLEXing highsec PVE farmer I see roughly three sides to the equation.
- I for one farm DED modules.
- Some whale guy buys PLEX from CCP
- VNI guy farms raw ISK so all three of us could exchange goodies.
All three are necessary, but proportion has to be right.
Free market regulates my part, if too many modules in the market they drop in price and I need to invest increasingly more time.
When plex was 600 mil I needed 3 pieces of pithum c-type invuln(200) per month for example. When it went up to 1.2 bil, 4 sufficed as demand for module also went up (300). Now plex is 2 bil and module is 400, so its 5 pieces.
What I think it shows modules became cheaper because clearly much more people do exploration nowadays. But ISK became cheaper even more so, much much more. Modules should have gotten cheaper not more expensive if they were abundant.
I may be wrong, but I think problem is ISK sinks are not balanced. Modules get blown, thus demand, plex gets consumed, thus demand. ISK just switches hands and is not taken out as fast as the other two.
I hardly manage to play at all but to me the game is worth the few euros a month it costs. If people can not afford it they should play or do something else with their money and time. Plexing an account is a service, nothing else.
Apparently, the poor need state support to play their video game of choice now.
