Price of Plex - Market intervention Required from CCP

Every EVE player should receive a billion isk per month in social subsidies so that all can enjoy the wealth of our great galaxy.

hahahahahaha

Aren’t we going into that direction anyway?

CCP nerfs more and more gameplay so people can make money faster. The stupid lemmings jump onto it and cheer. They don’t care about playing anymore, just about the rewards. It seems inevitable that CCP will eventually start handing out isk to everyone thanks to the never ending increase of idiots who believe that playing is a waste of time.

Latest change in that direction: Exploration.

Instead of exploring, people now just go there directly, because “it’s a waste of time” finding sites. These people are addicts and don’t give a single ■■■■ about anything but their drug. There’s simply no way for this not ending with Universal Basic Income eventually, because CCP themselves make it clear that the game’s all about pleasing addicts out of their ■■■■■■■ money.

More and more people will cry about annoyances, inconviniences and waste of time making isk. Just wait, eventually CCP will put an end to the need of jumping the a neighbouring system to the mission the agent gives them, because it’s nothing but a waste of time anyway.

See my above post.
It’s going to happen eventually.

Can I buy a permit from you personally, btw?

so here we are, thread still banging on about the price of plex and what to do for the poor people, ya know the people who can’t afford to pay for a game and think for some reason others (CCP) need to look at their personal situation and step in and disrupt the market.

I hate to bring this back to reality people but hey, what to do , what to do,

if you can’t afford to pay 20 bucks a month for a game then it time you looked at your own personal situation and perhaps playing a game is the last of your worries.

if you are running many accounts, and plex allows you to do this, then hey.

them prices, oh them prices. but hey, ya rich as feck, suck it up buttercup. :eyes:

Of course, I am a licensed agent.

Some states are requiring corporations to provide for their employees, ensuring they have healthcare and a place to live, food to eat. Perhaps I should send CCP a bill for all the unlicensed miners, and they can just put the isk directly into my account. At least that way all these miners will have valid permits.

You need to send it to the respective NPC representative.
Not sure if that’s one from CONCORD, or if you should write each one of each faction.

I am sure there’s a list out there somewhere, but it’s been years.

I really, really mean it. I remember that, in a reddit post, a dev said that these NPC people “exist” and interact at least via mails, so writing them can actually give you a response. Sometimes they even post on the forums, too. They’re tagged with a red NPC mark.

I don’t understand how you can have so much free time to rat for plex, yet you can’t afford €11-15 per month to play… who are these people? Are they all on welfare?

There are several good posts like this one in this thread. If you can’t afford $15 a month, which may be more depending on your country, then you have some budget problems. Just try explaining to me how you can afford $60-$200 a month on internet, cable, cell phone, but can’t afford another $15 for a sub.

Guys…

Get out of your weird 1st world bubble. $15.00 might be a months pay in some countries but internet access is practically free.

In any case, people like me have no problem with subs because we’ve been playing since way before PLEX, injectors, skill queues, micro transactions, and the F2P mechanic. Subs are status quo for us old timers.

Not so much for people who’ve joined in the last few years. They joined - and still join - under the impression that EVE is an micro transaction supported F2P game. But it isn’t. As they soon find out, it’s an unlimited free trial with very limited access to the game.

They get rightfully pissed at the bait and switch and come here to complain. They went through the trouble of downloading the thing and spent lots of time learning to get around in it only to discover that they needed to pony up if they want the other 90% of the available content.

It’s not that…

It’s that they never would have downloaded the game in the first place if the CCP marketing dept hadn’t lied about it being F2P.

And the…

Are you no-lifes that eat, drink and breath this game. Not the people that rage quit over CCP/PA lies.

But playing as an Omega clone is a privilege, not a right. I don’t care what your socio-economic status is IRL, you’re not entitled to an Omega clone.

Let me sum up the current argument that is being made.

CCP needs to intervene and make the PLEX prices lower so that it’s easier for me to plex because it might tangentially help someone in another country with a lower minimum wage also plex. for cheaper.

Do you guys even hear yourselves?

Yeah. So what. What does that have to do with anything? Are you and Runa being willfully ignorant?

The point is that they are being sold on the idea that it’s a F2P and it isn’t. When they find out it isn’t, it’s bad advertising for CCP as they hit social media. If it was explained right up front that the “free to play” is an extended trial and they’ll need to upgrade, then they have no reason to whine. But it isn’t.

So the point you are making is

“CCP needs to intervene and make plex prices cheaper because some people are dumb and will join eve thinking they get omega access for free, but when they realize they don’t, they might leave angry social media messages.”

It is F2P or are you being willfully ignorant?..some content is behind a pay wall but you can do a lot in Alpha to the extent that after a few months you should be able to start PLEXing to Omega.

Then please, explain your point.
If you can fill it into a simple sentence like:

“CCP needs to intervene in the PLEX prices because . . .”

Because all you have done is just saying random things. I’m having a hard time figuring out your point because you’re not making it easy to understand what your actual point is.

If you can give us a one sentence statement that explains why CCP needs to intervene, we might actually be able to carry on the discussion without devolving into name calling and insults.

LOL…THAT is your reply? That is ALL you have? Really?

Eve is F2P and as you failed at a counterargument; you proved I am right and you just a…well, I wont stoop to your low and sad level so I will stop here.
