Proposal for Rebalancing of the Suicide Gank

Flagging post just makes me take the effort to read them cuz they usually have a zing in them!

My guy, you spam just as much as I do

I want to believe you. But I don’t.

You need it more than I.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Yeah, you got me on that one. I still think your just RP’ing.

(I didn’t bother to correct your spelling. You need a “Hold My Beer” T-shirt!)

Why would you even post that?

So what if someone believes you or not.

Endless salt invigorates us all!

I’ll just respond with:

Maybe someone is trolling both sides?

:man_shrugging:

A lot of things are sus on these forums concerning your posts and the posts of the people who respond to you that end up getting flagged.

Who knows?

It beats the sheer challenge you must face sitting on your ass all day in Jita watching your AFK autopilot haulers come in and seeing your pile of ISK that you will never spend on anything useful grow bigger as you pretend to care about noobs and openly admit here that you are bored of the game.

Now I get it! I knew there was a twist. :sunglasses:

Not to make too fine a point of it, but this thread has 72 replies and 1/4 of them are you.

Take this final lesson well young Padawan.

All players could become like him. When you feel its time, walk away from the game, content with the memories you’ve made.

Don’t let it turn you into that.

Oh, I’m still at that stage of finding everything new and exciting, as to all extents and purposes I really only started Eve properly 6 months ago. It’s interesting that most of the people against ganking are either brand new noobs who don’t really understand the game ( like I was with Cilla Cybin ) or are prehistoric bittervets who predate the dinosaurs and are probably just bored and looking for a ‘cause’.

Despite the fact that there are some pretty useful tips, overall topic sounds kinda like “How to avoid being robbed on street and why robbing isn’t a problem”

Just because you can avoid something it doesn’t mean it isn’t a problem.

I agree, it’s really hard to avoid robbing people in this game.

clearly, you can’t demand that people learn to play the game. We have to remove this obstacles, so the game is equally boring for everyone

Learning how to avoid it is the first step in making it not a problem.

As we have all been educated, ganking isn’t a problem for veterans

This is a computer game. The goal isn’t to build a society free of crime and hardship. In fact the goal is the complete opposite, to build a challenging environment with driving conflicts and struggles to overcome.

The issue with a lot of carebears is that they can’t wrap their little heads around this simple fact and can’t separate what’s desirable for a real world society to what makes sense in a computer game.

But no one has defined in what way it is a problem, and why it should be a problem the players need to have to deal with.

If there’s a problem with the game, isnt that CCP’s issue, not ours?

Oh? You can read minds now too? LOL. Ganking is fun  Both for lulz and for profit.

However, I don’t take EVE seriously enough to sub more than one account, nor do I want to start a ganker corp to recruit peeps to the life.

If I had more than one account, I’d def gank all the time. Easy money considering most peoples still haven’t learned how to evade it. I’d farm whatever hub Hawk wasn’t in, and also fly around looking for abyss runners.

It can be harder to fly around a -10 gank squad tho. It is actually challenging and requires coordination.

It takes a lot of coordination and scouting and frankly, I enjoy piloting just one ship

So drop your ganking alts. Prove you’ve actually done it
