It depends entirely on where you go…and when…just as with highsec. I know places in highsec where you can mine all day and never see a ganker. Most of nullsec is empty, and large parts of lowsec are quite tame. But…pick the wrong time of day at Kinakka, or Abhazon, or Uedama, etc, etc, and you’ll have a bad day.
What’s truly laughable is the number of times I’ve now seen you try to negate people’s own actual experience if it conflicts with your dogmatic beliefs. Again and again, accounts of how noobs ( including myself ) managed just fine or even received a necessary HTFU from ganking are just casually dismissed as anecdotal or irrelevant.
You are like someone who insists it is raining all over the country, and if someone says ’ actually, the sun is shining here’, it is irrelevant…and if numerous people say it then its still irrelevant as it does not match your dogmatic mis-interpretation of a single sentence CCP may have said either recently or 10 billion years ago.
And the sheer irony is that every single one of us here ( including yourself ) is definitive proof that noobs can survive being noob. Your very existence on this forum is counter evidence to your claims.

Do you know what is sad, stupid people who think they are smart.
It is great you have all those characters, but you don’t use them for anything meaningful. Using more characters doesn’t make you more efficient; you still might get more, but each character degrades in efficiency.
You and I are still talking in extremes at examples, mostly you, but to get the conversation going, I am more looking at the masses and what reasonable people do. I believe 3-4 alts would not be a crazy number if High Sec became grank-free heaven.
A gank-free high sec is needed to save the game. CCP knows this, and steps are already being taken to see how to approach it and implement it.

Save the game from what ? Eve has survived with ganking for years now. It’s not as if ganking just started a year or two back…it’s been going for at least 10 years.
This is the truest statement on this forum. We all know it’s needed, CCP knows it’s needed. It’s just going to take CCP having the guts to stand up to the most abusive players.
I’m not ignoring anything. Rather, you are the one endlessly deliberately mis-interpreting CCPs rather brief statements. You deliberately conflate ganking with griefing, even though CCP themselves…in the very statements you refer to…separated them !
Thus your entire approach is a dishonest mis-interpretation of ‘what CCP said’…as they very clearly did NOT say what you claim. In fact their presentation actually ended with ‘gankers, you are safe’.
Yeah and our great great grandparent survived without cars, planes, microwaves or computers. But lets not go backwards.
A different generation is playing Eve now, and the developers have to understand that. As people grow older and out of Eve for good and new players come, change, and adjustments will always be needed.
No one needs to HTFU, they are paying for the game, and they should get a say, they can soften up if they want.

They are working it on the Chinese server, once polished out it will be coming to TQ or at least SISI to be tested and brought on live.
I for one am very excited for it as I love the new map concept and think it will give a rebirth to Eve that it has needed for many years now.

Yours may have trundled along with horse and cart but mine were flying Vimana alongside the gods.
It isn’t so much ganking that it is killing the game directly, but it doesn’t help at all. The new space as we have discussed at least a dozen times, is something new and what current-day gamers want.
A new space for a new feel to get those less risk-adverse players in the game.

Yeah, like I paid for a game of chess…and what’s this ? Knights can jump over other pieces and take mine ! That’s outrageous and is clearly griefing. I mean I paid not to be psychologically traumatised by the game. I’m the customer and I’m always right. Clearly whoever is making the Chinese Eve needs to get started on chess as soon as possible. Ban knights from jumping ! I know people who have to have hypnotic regression therapy alongside alien abduction victims in order to cope with the sheer trauma of a knight appearing from nowhere and ganking their pawn !

The changes coming are not to take away your game play, you will just need to move to low sec, which is a fun part of space to be completely honest.
