I can think it and it appears. Controlling atoms with my thoughts is kids’ play. I’m now moving on to controlling the entire world’s financial affairs with just a thought.

This is not the image I was looking for, but it will do.
Back in the day; I vividly recall looking at a marketing image of classic ELITE showing a large and disparate armada of traders lining up to dock at a station. The image captured the moment a player had exploded one of those traders to gain cargo.
I remember looking at that image in Acorn Magazine or something like it and thinking that it was so cool and that someone should program a game where there could be players for each of those individual ships.
Well someone did, CCP has stated that much of the inspiration for EVE came from classic ELITE.
So to answer your question: When did High SEC ganking start? At the drawing board. It is a founding principle.
The reason I am commenting here is because I will not stand by idly and see that principle corrupted.
So when you and I lose our s**t , try to remember, we are living the dream.

Look dude, chilling a barge all day mining is what i like to do, getting ganked is my life, but for real dude its eve. If they intended for you to be safe in high sec they would have disables player to player targeting. You are for some reason under the opinion that by preferring pve content you are entitled to be in a separate game from the pvp content.
There are tons of things you could do to minimize the odds of you getting ganked as well as the odds of the gank succeeding. Not to mention your claim of getting ganked while in frigs and destroyers. What the hell are you doing that is causing people to bother? Are you carrying fully researched bpo’s or something? There is zero reason for you to be suicide ganked unless you in/carrying something shiny.

Seriously, you need to calm down and realise that a lot of what goes on here is just psychology games and people beating their respective war drums. Most people avoid references to rl politics…because this isn’t rl.

There is a balance that i believe has been tipped in that Inflation is too high. This wil definitely have a negative impact of potential new players unless they just buy plex. The economy isn’t worth sht if nobody is playing and the economy in-game is basically holding people to a point where either cough up or go or go without. Ive had a go at industry on my alt and can turn 600k of resources per unit into a few mil per unit without even leaving the station.
So unless you’re actually in industry naking things for profit, then the economy you dearly love is straight fking you and you’re ok with that

A lot of producers haven’t kept up with production lines because of all the changes to industry. This is not permanent.
Also, what are you mining that is 600k per unit?
