PVP turn off feature

NO, you may not

You already have that: CONCORD. It punishes so you don’t have to; you can have a greed fit instead.

High security does not mean ā€œperfectā€ security nor ā€œprevention of unwanted PVPā€.

Happy with the idea of a ā€œno PvPā€ setting provided it means exactly that.
No interactions with other players directly or indirectly incase they become competitive.

  • No access to the market as that involves interaction and commercial competition with other players.
  • No access to industry as the install charges are based on the activities of other players completing for favourable locations.
  • No access to in space resources as there is competition with other players to mine/collect/run them.
  • No undocking into space in case they bump or otherwise interact with other players.

And not a ā€œswitchā€.
A permanent lock in for anyone that selects it.
Never go back.

Weird isn’t it. I’m a high-sec industrialist, mining, manufacturing, mission running, occasionally involved in wardecs, giving and receiving, I’m happy with Eve as it is - there is risk as there is in reality, there is also risk mitigation and risk management, the same as in the real world. If you want a low risk life in New Eden then that’s completely in your own hands. I’ve been ganked once, and that was my silly fault, wrong ship in the wrong place doing something that made me a tempting, easy target. A 60m ISK lesson (an ice mining Retriever, 'nuff said). Peanuts, I can idly replace that in a ten minutes effort. That’s once in eight years. I’m pretty risk adverse.

Eve is about the consequences for your decisions.
You want to be about to remove those consequences for the risks you decide to take.

NO, is not like in reality, Criminals are locked beyond bars and the currency they have confiscated and give them to their victims
How about it happens like that in EVE.
ONCE you are a criminal , you get account suspended months or years and isk confiscated to reimburse your victims losses ? Your isk from all your accounts not a gank alt.

To mirror reality, we need a PvP flag we can turn off IRL when we go through a bad neighborhood at night or are carrying lots of money or wearing expensive jewelry.

We also need a notice outside all banks saying Robbing of this bank is strictly forbidden, No PvP.

Sure, but then, like in reality, if you lose your pod it is game over and that character is dead for good and you need to start over.

Hilarious and I just saw ingame someone talking about streamer Hateless looking into a class action lawsuit against CCP and leaving because of ā€œbumping and griefingā€

LOL

I hope this isn’t serious. I realize in the United States you can sue for almost anything in civil court (which is why we have so many shitty judge shows), but let’s be real: they have nothing to sue for.

Wow. That’s a really steep penalty for playing a pirate in a video game.

RL detention, lock down and litigation.

I don’t think this game is a good fit for you.

Try Elite Dangerous.

WHat is RL having to do with the game?
I play what i want the way i want and i complain about what i want when i want

And you get the same reaction as IRL

Golly, what a real joy and gem to be around too.

Your corp mates must love you.

There is only one solution to your misery. There is a path for you to find happiness in Eve.

After you

Age before beauty

We already have 2 PVP turn off features, they’re docking up or pressing ā€œquit gameā€.

Very easy and accessible without any isk or SP requirements.

After you

Unlike you, I actually like Eve Online core design philosophy. PVP is my in-game income.

I have nothing against you or PVP. i do PVP aswell .
But i want to PVP only when i want to PVP and no more !
IT should be the case for every eve player and they should have the option of choice
