You don’t understand a thing. You don’t want to understand a thing. Nowhere have I said nor meant all player behaviour in EvE is socially acceptable. What I’ve said multiple times is that playing a game according to the rules is always acceptable behaviour and cannot be considered bullying. Player behaviour that breaks those rules is not acceptable.
Who are you referring to as “we” here? And disappear from where? The person that exists in real life doesn’t disappear. The character he uses in game sure does disappear from my life when I’m not playing EvE. That you cannot differentiate between game and real life, and hence cannot understand who I’m saying disappears from where, is a problem you have, not me…

This thread brings back memories of the old forums days. Memories of that uncomfortable, vaguely disoriented/headache-y feeling you get from scanning through too many non sequiturs, putting words in other people’s mouths, ad hominems, etc. Muscle memories too. Your index figure rolling the mouse wheel rapidly and repeatedly, and it realizes it’s still got just as much work ahead of it in order to get to the bottom of the page. Well done, all. Eve is not dying after all.
