Quantum Cores...the Return of the POS

I don’t understand… You act like you are not able to do so anymore in highsec.

What is stopping you from putting up a raitaru like so many 1 man corps have already? The Core is already required when you put up a structure now. People are not afraid to.

In lowsec you need to fight for you right to exist.

You can’t get Noxcium in high sec.

Welcome to the thread btw.

Nothing is stopping you from moving the required ore to high.

Do you really think someone is going to increase their jump rate from low to high a hundredfold with raw ore to compress it? The whole point of compression is to reduce hauling.

Not to mention solo miners will have to setup in quiet lowsec systems that are far from high sec.

If you can’t compress the ore in the same system you’re mining it…it’s not worth mining it.

So yes… that is correct. If you want to solo it will be harder. That is how it works.

Nothing is stopping you from forming a group and taking over a region or system for your needs. You want CCP to fix that for you because it is hard.

But I understand now you want the easy way.

EDIT: No amount of typing or responding from you is now going to convince me your post is for the good of the game. It is all about you.

No, thats what you infer from it.

Uh, they do. Its called managing their business?

True, but in my case that has literally zero to do with being afraid of baddies and more I refuse to pay 200% mark up on something that earns very little in HS in the first place.

Yes, you can.

You act as if solo mining in low sec is easy…

If someone manages to procure the ore in low sec, then they’ve already accomplished a very difficult task.

Making it a HUNRDED TIMES MORE DIFFICULT (literally since ore compression is a hundredfold) and time consuming (again literally) due to the lack of compression makes it not worth doing at all.

Without the ability to compress the ore, Noxcium will only be available to Null Sec Power blocs in locust fleets and low sec cartels. The price will skyrocket and the supply will be artificially withheld against a demand…a demand that every object in this game requires to be manufactured.

This is a nightmare.

So God forbid the little guys can day trip with a POS compression array…right?

The challenge to low sec mining should be the acquisition of the ore, not the compression.

Maybe you should set up your manufacturing in lowsec, so you don’t have to haul so much around.

I manufacture in Null, all of my assets are there as well. And I’m certainly not going to be trading ABC/Merc for monopolized Noxcium. Not in a million years

How much raw Nox can you fit in a Bustard these days anyway?

Raw Ore --> Compressed Ore --> Refinery —> Noxicum.

If the miner refines the ore in low sec, he’ll lose too much of it to be worth the hassle of mining. Ore must be refined by an alt/friend with max skills/implants at the appropriate rigged upwell structure.

I don’t get it. Are you part of the null sec power blocs or aren’t you?

Why? Why have two alts when you only need one?

And you are saying theres no refineries in Low or Null?

And youve avoided the point that Nox does in fact still grow in High Sec, I see

There’s a difference between being in a null sec power bloc, and being the upper echelon of a null sec power bloc. Just because you keep a cap on standby in the umbrella doesn’t mean you get to set the schedules and plans for low sec mining operations.

But it must mean you get access to Alliance or Corp facilities, right?

Yes, and?

Those are located in Null sec. There’s no Noxcium there.

You said this. Why does your Alliance/Corp not operate an appropriate structure at your mining site?

Oh now you are just being silly.

Yeah if you are going to have that attitude, I see you arent actually interested in discussion.

You’re creating strawmen.

What do refineries in null have to do with low sec ore?

You’re the one subverting the discussion.

You’re also trying to advocate that gun mining Noxcium (via the reprocessing of NPC loot) will be a competitive source of Noxcium, since I can’t imagine what else you’re trying to prove that photo:

Whatevs, you lost the plot the moment you started resorting to name-calling.

See ya.

Edit: Pretty funny jape to edit the name you called me out of the post and then flag my response.

Still stands that You can get Nox in High, even though you claimed otherwise, you can refine and compress in Low and Null if you have support (which you kinda should have if you are doing serious industry there) and then accuse me of strawmanning when there’s literaly nothing stopping you doing any of those things.
