I am starting to lose faith CCP…
We started this corp a little over two years ago in nul sec - we are mainly miners but needs must we are learning PvP to defend ourselves… Everyone tells us how rich we are but our kill mail tells the tale, only the hard work in mining has funded not only our structures and our ship builds but our rent.
You have ripped the heart out of our mining fleets nerfing everything in sight…
You removed all the normal minerals from the moons that we had invested in…
Now you are trying to guarantee that our structures - mostly built through investment in BPO’s and loads of mining - are even more of a target. We are in the uneviable position of having built the largest production facility available, a feat which took us 2 months of hard work, rigging it - we had to salvage for nearly 3 years to get the peices - now we need to spend another 10m to keep iit relatively safe and add a bigger bulls eye on it?? I could pull it down? just write off the rig - which is trading at 50b at the moment…sure why not…
Just noise right? Another disgruntled player? My corp has already shrunk from 52 hard working guys to 35 after the all the moons were stripped. My officers and I are looking at whether or not we just join a larger corp/alliance and let them deal with the fiscal pressure.
Your looking to get people in through the PvP action etc - thats fine…when you lose industrialists you lose all the small gang fights.
Your looking to kerb the rise of the big alliances…the only way that has happened is by other alliances started by small corps growing larger rise and cause the larger older Alliances to fragment… You are killing the smaller corps. If we cant pay rent we cannot survive in null. If we cant survive in null on our own none of us like High so we join the like of Pandemic Horde or TEST or Gonnswarm directly. Before you tells us how that doesnt happen…most of your most storied marketing is based on the CO2 betrayal, the rise of Goonswarm, the dominance of Rooks and Kings…the rise and fall of the small and mighty alike.
Please consider exactly what you are doing to those of us that spend our hard earned playing a game that is quickly becomming something worth walking away from …Remember the big Alliance may be able to plex their accounts - we dont we buy our monthly & quarterlies from you…during CoVid, for fun…their are new MMO’s coming online all the time my original 52 guys all still talk on our discord channel so our community can move at will - with almost half of us playing the likes WoW or Crowfall the difficulties, and cost, is having an effect.
Eve is a sandbox - with so many things to do…why make it so difficult to be what what we want to be in game when its obvious you want us all to be PvP all the time. If we wanted PvP we would play CoD or Counter Strike more often.
