I would really like to know what this is all about. I have been playing for 15 years…and over the last year…you allowed us to moon mine in high sec which made great isk on the minerals. Then you take all but a smidgen of pyerite and mexallon away leaving us with just the moon ores which are too heavy and practically worthless. Now…you want to charge us more isk to keep our structures up because of a bunch of cheating buttwipes. Sounds to me like you need to kick the people cheating out forever instead of punishing the people who have been playing the game fairly. So while you are at it…please install a self destruct button into the controls of the structures…that way I can just blow them up instead of wasting my time taking them back down.

but… where did you get the idea that MMO players have to group together or even cooperate - is it like a rule you made up or something I missed in the terms and conditions … where can I find that in the EULA ?
CCP are not trying to fix that, they are doing far more than preventing solo players from putting up structures.

With or without the core, the structure’s ability to “continue to exist” is the exact same. If you don’t want tethering/ship/module repair, it’s not mandatory. It’ll still “continue to exist” just as it has before.
And you were wrong on solo.
CCP literally wrote that the goal of STRUCTURES were to replace POS
SINCE people were using POS solo, then the same people would use structures SOLO. That’s the definition of “replace” : be used instead.
So yes structures were designed to be used solo.

All I can see, is they are raising the barriers of entry, which makes it harder for SOLO people to enter.
