It was more fun with him not knowing. Confused people are always funny.

Kids today, man…

I will not know tomorrow

It’s not relevant enough to memorize

I mean, it does require a lot of brain capacity. True true.

Just choose wisely what to memorize or you end up as trump…

It’s not even difficult. It’s the html for a Non-(line) Breaking SPace.

Keep RL politics off the EVE-O forums.

1.not everyone has the slightest idea of html
2.the name trump is no rl politic…

  1. Like I said: educate yourself.
  2. use a period, not a comma, on the 1.
  3. Once you bring up ‘supporters’, it is. And the EVE community’s a toxic enough soup of jackasses without giving us MORE reason to hate one another. Cuz we already do, I promise.

You really think you found a grip on me lecturing me do you?
You are wrong because i couldn’t care less about my insecurities in certain points

No, I’m just a pedantic jerk. S’why I’m such a good editor.

Sounds like another well conceived CCP idea to me! :rubberstamp: /s

Honestly though, has there been any reasonable alternatives suggested? I’m hoping I overlooked something in this mammoth thread.

Also, in the interests of pedantic jerk-ery, I was wrong: a max-expanded Orca can get a core into a C2.

Tie the anchoring attributes to the TCU in the system. Make it harder but not impossible to anchor in someone else’s space. Make the ‘owner’ of the TCU the one who gets to determine the final timers, etc, or remove shield timer for TCU reasons. Owning space shouldn’t make you immune, but it should help you or hurt your aggressor.

It’s already tied to the ADMs. If the ADMs are over 4, it takes a week to anchor Medium structures (unless you’re the owner of the IHUB).

I think I heard there was a C1 with a Fortizar, but honestly that was quite a long time ago and it may already have expired.

After self-destructing my Rorqual in a C2 long ago, I decided not to build ships in bottles again.

My old mining group built a Rorq in a C4. When we decided to leave, we left him with a tower in his hold, and a prober, in case we wanted to come back (This was 2011). 6 months later, I decide to login the prober to check things out… and I’m in a lowsec station.

So we had the rorq pilot get to login screen. And he’s in a lowsec station. With the Rorq. We sold the Rorq.

CCP apparently sweeps the places out if absolutely nobody’s there for like 6 months. Who knew?

Well, CCP used to move pilots that logged in-space to the station with their medical clone, after 6 months of the account being idle.

That resulted in more than a few capitals undocking from Jita 4-4.

Time for a class action suit against CCP. Current station owners should not be forced into the loss of rigs or other monetary value in the time investment and potential losses of unanchoring structures. Eve is connected via RMT transactions which gives a RMT value for every in single isk in game. A station owner of a Fortizar for example now has to put forward the equivalent of $60 USD of RMT to buy in game money to buy a Quantum Core in order to maintain their Fortizar (or yes grind out 4.5 billion, but then their is a time value of money to that component too). And if the Fort owner chooses to unanchor the fort they may lose not only billions in rigs (another potential $60+ in RMT value they also may lose the structure to scoopers and also have to take time to transport and sell that structure incurring additional losses in time and money via potential losses and broker/sales tax fees.)

It is not OK what CCP is doing in this case by not “grandfathering” existing structure owners and requiring existing structure owners to buy cores or unanchor structures both which have significant cost ramifications to the structure owners.

If CCP does not grandfather in existing structures i would recommend all structure owners banding together in a class action suit against CCP for financial damages associated with the change.

No. Stop being dumb. This is all CCP’s property, and all you pay for is a license to access their game servers and interact with their database tables. You will get laughed at by any lawyer. Ask @Brisc_Rubal

Nope your wrong there have been many other class action lawsuits against other game companies when they tie it to RMT and then take steps to devalue already invested money in the game
